Recently moved to area and found this place, and what a find it was. Food was absolutely fantastic I would highly recommend it! The lamb in honey sauce was unreal! Service was prompt would defo order again!
It's been a long time since we had a meal from here. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the meals we had. I'm sorry to say most of it went in the bin. Meals here used to be second to none, but honestly I was disappointed.Food: 2/5

Ive ordered from Lotus almost every time I've been to Cinderford in the evening and I can say it's the best Chinese Takeaway I've ever had. The service is quick , easy and flawless. The menu is amazing and I always order something randomly off the menu, that way I can experience some new delicious food. They have a wide variety of meals and you obviously get prawn crackers if you order over a certain amount.
I haven't been into Lotus for many years, didn't realise it was now only offering takeaway service. We were not disappointed with both the speed of the service providing our ordered food with only a short wait but thoroughly enjoyed the food when we got back home which was still hot enough without needing to be warmed again! Thank you, we will return
Just had a take out today ordered duck in black bean sauce.chicken satay sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken.the satay was not very good no taste of peanut or spices.the lemon chicken was vile the chicken was steeped in bottled kid lemon Juice.called then to complain they said I would get discount next time I go in I said not interested just refund me for the lemon chicken.they said I had to come back to get the refund processed .Not worth the 8 mile round trip.not happy
I truly wish I'd found this place ages ago! I ordered a takeaway last night for my Mum's birthday and she loved it, we all did. The quality of the food was as good as anything I've had London, let alone the wilds of the Forest. We will definitely be back. If you ever do cookery courses, I'd sign up!
First class Chinese. The best In a VERY long time. I recommend the crispy lamb with honey. The prawns were succulent not over cooked. Service was excellent and good value for money. Staying at Forest Barns for the week…May see you again before we leave …

Lovely food, really really nice Chinese restaurant and take away. Absolutely lovely owner Aaron. Will go out of his way to help you. Always great food here and amazing table service. Very competitive prices. Well worth a visit if you are in the Cinderford area. Can’t say enough good things about it ! Absolutely a must go and eat !!. Too too place once you’ve been once you will definitely go back again ! Brilliant
