Welcome to Apex Cycles.

We are an independent cycle store that has been serving the London cycling community for over 20 years.

Story

Our large range of handpicked cycles from Specialized, Ridgeback, Brompton, Whyte, Giant, Liv and Saracen are all individually prepared by our experienced mechanics and are ready to ride away.

We have all sorts of bikes in store to choose from. Everyone has a different requirement from a bike and we are here to help you find your ideal.

We also have a fully equipped workshop in store that caters from small repairs to full bike servicing and also wheel building. Call us or drop by to find out more.

Apex and Evans are my local bicycle stores. I’m a commuter cyclist and Apex has been my go-to, for many years, deservedly so. They are exactly what you would like from your local store verses a chain outlet’s conveyor-belt attitude. Customer service is brilliant, personal and friendly. Great communication. Turnaround times are quick. There’s a genuine sense they care and enjoy what they do. Most grateful to Mike, Richard and the team for keeping my trusty steed road-worthy.
A flawless 10/10 service from Mike and the team at Apex, who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Bought a new bike little over a month ago at a great price and have been very happy with the purchase. I've also received excellent after-sales support and communication. I couldn't recommend them highly enough to anyone looking for a new bike or maintenance. It reaffirms the need to buy from the local bike shop rather than looking online. The value isn't just in the bike itself.
A really good service. Lots of knowledge to share. Had my bike serviced 6 months ago and still in good condition. Bit on the pricey side but totally worth it.
Great service from Apex. I left my bike with them in the afternoon, as I had problems with the chain, rear cassette and pedals. They called me the next morning to tell me what needed doing to ensure I was happy with the recommended repairs and cost. Then they had it all done by lunchtime. I thought it was great value. Very fast turnaround, they were very helpful and a great professional customer service.
I brought my bike to Apex after getting a puncture on the way to work that was repaired by another big name shop just over the road and immediately repunctured. Apex were brilliant - not patronising, sorted out my puncture and a thorough service within 24 hours and extremely reasonable compared to other bike shops. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
Can't comment on new bike purchases, but if it's anything like the workshop then I can't recommend this place highly enough. Now my go to for servicing and repairs. Always realistic with their timelines/slots, and one of the few shops that will fix small jobs on the day if they have time, unlike Evans who put me on a 3 week wait list for a brake pad change... Furthermore they always call for confirmation before replacing a part instead of the "We've done this because we thought it needed doing" and backcharging.... Go to Apex instead of the green and yellow sign across the road....
The guys at Apex are great. They recently helped me with repairs for a 2nd hand bike I bought - they gave me very sound and honest advice, and got things fixed quickly. Appreciate their patience with my many questions as a newbie to cycling! They also serviced my other bike and did a fantastic job, it’s running like brand new again. Very happy :
Great bunch of lads, very knowledgeable in there bike craft, will always use them when it comes to bike repairs, they only use quality parts, which makes a huge difference if your an everyday cyclist.
Best bike shop in Clapham. Staff are very very friendly and super knowledgeable. Went there to have new handlebar, brake levers and grips fitted to my vintage bike. 10/10 will be back again.
Absolutely outstanding levels of service - warm, friendly, helpful, explaining options without jargon and not looking to sell the most expensive option. Went in with an emergency at 5:55pm they close at 6pm on the Saturday night before RideLondon with a puncture - they were calm, went out of their way to help and that’s reflective of every experience I’ve had.
