"Seabass Cycles was established in 2013 with the opening of the Camberwell shop in London SE5. The driving force was to open a bicycle shop that we would like to go to as a customer, and one that would appeal to all kinds of cyclists.We envisioned a shop with unbiased views on particular types of bike or style of riding, and a workshop that could cater for everyone from the carbon-riding athlete to the person who rides a clunky squeaker to the pub and back.We have worked in various bicycle shops as mechanics and as shop floor staff since our early teens. Those years of hands-on experience within the bicycle world have given us an invaluable insight into what makes a good bike shop.Directors, Sam and Charlie"

Had a flat tire on our pram and didn't have all the stuff I needed to sort. They very kindly pumped up and refitted free of charge. Friendly, helpful and would be my first choice next time I need any bike repairs/ advice or equipment. Thanks guys, really appreciate it.
Left my bike with them for the first time two days ago, and when I collected today it wasn’t working properly. Went back twice and it still doesn’t work as it should be. Basically I spent £180 and I have to go to another bike shop again! Staff is really friendly but I’m not sure they know what they’re doing. Definitely do not recommend.
Thanks for providing a brilliant service! Came in on a Saturday afternoon to get a fault with my brakes sorted before a ride the next day. Not only did they do that, they also got to the bottom of an annoying creaking that I'd spent months trying to identify. There are some great mechanics and I'll certainly be back if when something else goes wrong with my mountain bike.
Used this bike shop for the first time and was very pleased with the service. Had a problem with the brakes on my bike thought it needed new pads, but it didn’t. Got fixed same day for a very small fee.

Without doubt the best bike shop have ever used. Very high quality work, service is faultless available and done on the day it goes in and very fair pricing too.
This is the first time I've used Seabass Cycles. They provided a prompt, friendly, hassle free service of my Brompton bike. Transmission and a few other components needed replacing. I received a phone call to advise me what work was needed after they'd checked it over and what the price would be. The price seems fair for a well used commuter bike that badly needed a service.

This will be my go-to bike shop from now onwards. There are a couple of bike shops closer to me so it took me a while to use these guys, but I was blown away by the experience and will now travel the further distance to use them in the future. They had a solution and fix for everything, when I had been told no elsewhere beforehand. They were kind, attentive and took proper time going through everything with me. Service was swift with updates along the way. Parts are well stocked and well priced unlike somewhere like Evans. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgable. My bike rides a dream now. They put a lot of care and passion into what they do. Can't recommend this independent shop enough!
