I went to the palm with family on Monday evening and I loved the new refurbishment.nnThe restaurant itself didn’t seem like a restaurant in Milton Keynes. It was given very classy, bougie vibes. The dark mood lighting was a good touch. The heaters in the restaurant kept me lovely and warm.nnThe staff were so friendly at this restaurant, especially the male waiter between 6 and 9 pm. He was very helpful gave some great recommendations and I also saw him behind the bar and he made me a margarita on the rocks which tasted truly amazing!!nnThe food was nice. I preferred my starter to my main. I really enjoyed the crispy prawns as I like the spicy sauce on top.nnI popped upstairs to see the Shisha lounge and that was very nice too however I didn’t try any of the Shisha that day, but I will be back in the future.
If I could give 10 stars I would. My husband and I came on a Friday afternoon and was served immediately with a welcoming smile. Food came out in about 10 minutes and the complimentary starter on the house was perfect. Food is cheap and the quality is amazing. Will definitely be returning and bringing family and friends along. Fast service, welcoming staff, you can actually taste the seasoning in the food and just wow! I can’t rave enough. In fact I’m writing this review still at the table, absolutely wonderful place! & just to add, I mentioned to the waiter it was my anniversary and he surprised us with a small slice of cake with a candle. Wonderful, caring service. X
Absolutely amazing experience!nThis Turkish restaurant is a real gem. The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh, authentic and full of flavour. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the Turkish hospitality from the moment you walk in.
First time dining here and it’s now my new favourite Turkish restaurant in MK. Not only is the restaurant aesthetically pleasuring, the service down to the food was all top tier. Special shout-out to the very attentive gentleman who took care of us.nnThoroughly enjoyed my meal which all came in a timely manner. I also finished the evening with some shisha. Highly recommend. Palm Restaurant catered my cousin’s 21st birthday party on Saturday 8th November and they did a brilliant job. It was our first time there and the staff were incredibly patient and very helpful, which made the whole evening run smoothly and kept things stress-free. A special mention goes to the manager, Arez, who was fantastic and clearly cares about his guests.nnUnfortunately, our second visit on the 29th of November was not as great. We arrived at 8pm for our booking but our table was not ready until 8:40pm, even though it had already been cleared. We ordered calamari to start, which was lovely, but after finishing our starters we waited more than half an hour with no one checking on us. I eventually had to get up from the table to ask if we could order our mains. No one came over at any point during the meal until we had finished eating, which was disappointing after such a positive first experience.nnThe food was still good and the atmosphere remained enjoyable, but the service on our second visit really let the evening down. My Old Fashioned was also missing the key ingredient, Woodford Reserve, which did not help matters.nnOverall, it was a mixed experience, so two stars feels fair.
