Lovely canal side pub, comfortable seating both you inside and sunny patio area for warmer days. Great choice of well cooked dishes and always nice selection of desserts fan ice cream. Good choice of draught beers as well as bottled. Super wine choice and fab selection of gins n whisky. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bonus is the loyalty card they do

A lovely old pub with great beers and good bar staff. I'm only giving 3 stars because of the food. I ordered Thai Fishcakes from the 'specials' menu which turned out to be a poor quality processed product with no flavour and little evidence of seafood content.

Our 'secret' get away lunch spot. It's only secret because the kids don't know about it. Haha. Food is great, everything is reasonably priced. It's an absolutely beautiful spot in the summer too. Would definitely recommend.

Usually go here once a month, food is very good nicely presented with some nice unusual specials on offer. Had a delicious sea bass in a coconut n lime sauce served with a good selection of vegetables followed by a great tiramisu. They have a good selection of wines n beers and a very nice new Scottish Gin . They do a fab loyalty card which is free and gives you a £10 off after short period of time eating out there.

Nice pub with a good selection of draught ales. Unfortunately you have to get there early on a weekend to secure a lunchtime table and have the full menu to order from as it is an understandably popular venue and many of the items I would have liked to have ordered and tried were already sold out.
Nice selection of outside seating to use in the summer or when the weather is fair enough.
