It is a little cozy restaurant, but the food and service were excellent every time! The atmosphere was great. I really recommend to have the lunch specials Food: 5/5
First visit here and really enjoyed our meal. The chicken satay was yum and my jumbo prawns Nam Prik Pao was sublime. Big fat juicy prawns. My husbands Thai red chicken curry was lovely too. Great service , will be back Kid-friendliness: High chair provided
Great food, good service & good value. I've been to Thailand a few times too, so my expectations of Thai food are quite tough. They even understood my poor effort at speaking Thai!
Have eaten at the Royal Thai on a number of occasions when on business in Milton Keynes. Have always been happy both with the service and quality of the dishes. Other reviewers negatively reference the owners young children in the restaurant but I've not experienced a problem - if present at all they've been well behaved, and unobtrusive. Royal Thai remains on my favourite list in the area.
Noodles were all compacted with an undescribable flavour ?. Yellow curry was very liquid and the calamari was soggy. It didn't help that it was a takeaway so it took 20 minutes to start eating but still I can't recommend.

Good Thai food. I had the Panang Curry with Beef. It was good. Not very spicy for Thai food but good flavor. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The food was very nice and tastey but the portions were very small
Normally i would have given 5 starts for this place as iv had some of the best food here, but I was extremely disappointed on my last visit. Main dish Prawns were hard and tasteless costing nearly £16, also prawn starters were tough and not nice. I'm hoping it's just a blip, iv been told its changed hands which may explain the changes. I will give it one more try in a while to see if it was just a blip as it's hard to be 100% 100% of the time. But if it was same as last time then I wouldn't return. As it isn't cheap. But usually worth the money.
Lovely Thai. £12 for a plate of food like that. Great value :
