Genuinely one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. The food was fantastic, and the wine to match was really great. The atmosphere is great because of the historic setting and the staff were really friendly. I have recommended to a lot of people since going and will continue to do so.
Elegant little wine bar tucked off the main road. Good wine selection with helpful staff and some nice pieces of art on the walls. Great place to savour wine without bedlam around you.
My wife and I had one of the best dinners we have ever had, and this was with an itison voucher. The staff are so friendly which adds to the whole experience. We have been 3 times and have never been disappointed.
Fantastic space. Interesting wine selections. Surprisingly sophisticated small plates. Lovely experience overall.
Visited Anfora the day after it opened and had a nice time. You could tell that the staff wasn't still too prepared but they were friendly and helpful. It's a pricey bar compared to the rest of places in the area but it's worth paying a visit every once in a while.
Love this place! Great Wine, Great Atmosphere, Great Team. A must visit.
We used to go here when it was the vintner rooms. Very glad that previous standards have been maintained. Caroline had sea trout, clams, samphire and crushed potatoes. I had a wonderful lobster and scallop risotto with safron. Both meals were excellent. Afterwards we shared a delicious elderflower cheesecake with summer berries.
