Apart from the History of GREYFRIARS BOBBY my Wife and I meant to visit it 3½ years ago. So I'm doing it on her behalf. My Vera's gone but, I'll keep her in my thoughts forever. She would have loved it here. Food was excellent. Staff brilliant. *As Albert Swartzenager* says... I'LL BE BACK!!

Open later than most on a Sunday evening. No booking required, just wait to be seated at the door. Good service

Pretty basic Greene King bar in Edinburgh new town, fine, but not overly recommended. Happened to be open for the end of the football.
Pretty standard chain pub, it's in the city centre so expect city centre prices. Plenty of seating, friendly and helpful staff.
This is a lovely Scottish pub. Fish and chips are crispy and lovely. They have 8 beers on tap. Tennets beer on draft. Pints here are 20 oz which is a generous portion. Staff are friendly and have great sense of humor. Bathrooms are downstairs.
