Great staff. But.......I asked and paid for a large Cod and was told "It would take about 10 minutes". Absolutely no issue with the wait but when i got home and opened my paper package, the size of the fish was tiny. Even smaller than a normal sized fish! The journey back to the shop was not worth the hassle, so i just ate what i had. I have to say, it was very nice, but i felt cheated. I'd paid.for a large Cod and actually got nothing more than a long fish finger! Not been back since and i now use Blue Ocean near the railway station.

Generous portions. We had 3 small fish and one small chips between us. The fish were larger than average and there was more than enough chips for three. Everything was fresh and the shop was clean. There was no queue even though it was Saturday lunchtime. A hidden gem.

Have my tea from here every Saturday night and can never fault it :) nice sized portions and great meal deal options :)
