We only had drinks here so I can't comment on the food, but the pub was very atmospheric and had fabulous decor... Excellently done. The drinks were reasonably priced. Parking: Parking on site at the pub.

This was the second time dining at The Anchor. The first time was 3 years ago. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, helpful and very attentive. We went for my daughters birthday and had a table of 14. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us. It was a lovely setting. Thanks to Nicolle, Will and all the staff. Highly recommend.

First time visiting the Anchor was for a group business meeting in the private room upstairs. First off the staff was very friendly and very attentive for drinks and food ordering. The food was very good with all members of the team enjoying what they had eaten. I really enjoyed the pie of the day! The atmosphere was fantastic, with amazing decor to a high standard. I look forward to visiting again real soon. Parking: Plenty of free parking behind the property
Wow what can we say this is a true gem to find. From the moment we walked in with a warm welcome we knew we would have a lively time here. The surroundings are amazing. The food was totally delicious and amazing. The star of the evening was our awesome waitress Nadia. She was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. You could tell she loved her job and her aim was for us to all have a wonderful time which we did. We will definitely be back especially if Nadia is on shift xx

This is the second time we have visited and it won't be the last. I don't review on my first visits as I give the benefit of the doubt but The Achor is a real gem. Importantly the family enjoy it too and gives us the reason to return. The staff are always friendly and helpful and both pub and restaurant have a nice feeling of wanting to be there. Menu is to the point that it's got something for everyone and the kids always find something they like. Drinks menu is good too and I always make a point of trying something different as there is a good selection. This is the second time i have visited and food has been lovely both times and there is no complaints about quality of the food or speed of the service and for me I would recommend visiting and enjoying an evening there to anyone. As it's such a good place to visit I recommend you get there early if your driving or you'll need to park a little down the road as their car park gets full very quickly. Well done The Anchor and thank you to the owners and staff. Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoy it here. Plenty for them to pick for food and drink. Desserts obviously they look forward to the most as their favourite. But they enjoy all the pictures and animal ornaments and find it all interesting. And always find amusing the sign saying any kids left unattended will be sold to the circus.
