Ananda Restaurant
"Ananda is Ireland’s premier fine dining Indian restaurant. Its impeccable pedigree, stunning location & interior design, not to mention the friendliest service led by Anand, gives Ananda a wow factor that cannot be replicated. Bold & innovative cuisine with the kitchen team pushing boundaries in culinary techniques, yet is always respectful of the true essence of India & its authentic flavours. Experience dishes that have delicate layers of flavours acknowledging our deep understanding of spices, tying in the use of local ingredients & a nod to Irish flavours that, all combined, make this one of Ireland’s finest & most unique dining experiences. I went here based on the internet reviews and general recommendation from friends and wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is quite big and spacious. The hospitality was genuine and the staffs were kind. All the food items were flavoursome with the right blend of spices hitting the taste buds. Main courses had a very filling portion size. Price may be on a higher side but that's understandable from where they are located. The restaurant could appeal more sophisticated with a little more maintenance. Overall we had a very fulfilling lunch and it is definitely a nice spot to dine as couples or in groups.
Very tasty food. Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Staff was incredible. Highly recommend the sharing/ bit of everything starter. Butter chicken was in my top 3 of all restaurants. Mango lassi was the best I've had in Dublin.
Worth every penny! The best Indian food we've had in Dublin so far. Lovely ambiance overall, the restaurant has a direct view of the kitchen behind a glass wall. The only negative was a small selection of beer only one non-alcoholic, but still, 5 stars. Food: 5/5
What can I say? One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Dublin. An Indian friend of mine suggested me this place saying:”it’s the best Indian restaurant in Ireland” and I don’t think he was lying. The restaurant is very stylish, with a very nice Art Deco style. Also the choice of food is just right you know the food is good when the menu is not too big. The waiting staff is amazing and with a courtesy beyond expectations. The food was amazing: it was very tasty and authentic, also well presented. The service overall was very good. Be ready to spend a little bit on the higher end, but nothing crazy. If you take your date here they won’t forget it. Also huge props for having classical music, that was cherry on top for me.
Amazing fine dining Indian food. Love the modern twist. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have gluten free and dairy free options. The portion sizes were good. We will be back.
Best Indian restaurant near Dublin ,Ireland A must visit place for dinner if you like Indian food Michelin star and well deserved recognition I cannot single out any particular dish We tried the pani puri . The chicken trio , Ghee Roast goat and butter chicken and each of them elevated to the next level The kulfi and the Golab Jamun were also great ! Great service and great food !!
After exploring Indian cuisine for quite a while now, Ananda is my personal fav. Great staff, delicious food with good quantity and excellent ambience. A bit expensive but worth it!Food: 5/5
Nice place very good ambience food is great but felt vegetarian options were little less. Over all nice experience and food
Tasty dishes & great service.. we took the sharing starters combo, the Kashmiri lamb, naan bread and kulfi to finish off. Everything was super tasty and well presented. Highly recommended!
Having lived in the Middle East I have very high expectations of Indian food. Finally an Indian restaurant in Ireland that lives up to these expectations. The food is amazing, can't wait for a return visit.
