Quite nice, my wife’s lamb dish was nicely spiced and I liked it, but she wasn’t mad on it, and my dish was very sweet and had none of spice promised. There are better Indian restaurants around.
I have eaten here many times over the years, always felt the portions and quality of the food was fantastic value. After eating here tonight, staff as always extremely pleasant and helpful. And food still great I cannot help but feel that portion sizes have decreased dramatically and price has increased. The great value this restaurant once had feels lost. I will be reconsidering returning in the future.
SO good, lamb chettinard was delicious. All the food was incredible, we ate loads. The fact that I got too full to finish everything makes me deeply sad!!! Waitress was really lovely as well. :
This was our first time in Vermilion. Nice ambience. Staffs were nice. We’re vegetarians and the food items we ordered were all good. The main problem for us was that half way through our main course, in one of the items, we found a piece of meat! We let one of the staff members know about it and they apologised for the mishap. I understand it’s a busy kitchen; both veg and meat items are being prepared side-by-side. But, for an Indian vegetarian family who’ve never eaten any meat, finding meat on their plate isn’t something they can ignore. Do I like the food? Yes. Will I be visiting again? Probably not.
Four of us ate here last night and it was delicious! Really from the various starters we had and the gorgeous main courses everything was excellent. Delicious ice cold beers went down a treat as we sat at the big windows chatting it up. See below for a pic of the shared starter, jeepers the prawns, massive and so so succulent. Big recommend!
Haven’t been here for a good while, COVID & all that. Had the Neighbour hood menu. Good value & perfect portion size. Great friendly staff & will be back soon. Good it’s kept it’s quality & service up. Well done & thanks.

The best Indian restaurant in Dublin. Live jazz music, wine, delicious cuisine from chefs all over different parts of India and desserts were divine! We will be back 110% staff were so kind, friendly and had all the time in the world for us on a busy Friday night
Had a fantastic meal here last week. Food was lovely and the attentiveness of staff was just right. A small administrative error with the bill was solved promptly and courteously with a minimum of fuss. Highly recommended
Very nice food. A little pricey. Easy to get a table. Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair for my son.
