How this place is rated 4.2 is incredible. I would rate it 0 stars if I could. Clueless staff who never came around to ask if everything was ok, food was not fresh nor authentic I'm pretty sure my chicken had been frozen for quite a while before being thawed, cooked and served, it didn't seem clean, the wait times were way too long for a place that wasn't even full, and this list could go on. If you really like Indian food, please avoid this place as there are much better options in the city.
Everything that could go wrong went wrong. The food was poorly cooked frozen chicken among other issues, I came out wreaking of fried food smells had to shower and throw everything in the wash, everything was greasy cutlery, plates, floor... Everything! This was hands down the worst experience dinning out I've ever had. If I could I'd rate this zero or negative starts. Stay away. And definitely not Indian food surely not any I've ever tried.
Flavour was good but chicken is not great . It was definitely not a fillet there was a party of 5 and we couldn't eat the chicken as it was like jelly. We have gone over 3 times but never again.
I’ve been here a few times in the last year and the food is really lovely, very affordable, byob too! Staff are friendly and efficient but they don’t fuss over you at all, which suits me, a level of casualness that suits the ambiance!
Cosy, warm atmosphere and friendly informative staff. Very reasonably priced considering how good the food is. Free poppadoms with a delicious selection of dips on arrival which I was expecting either. Would highly recommended the Tandoori Murgh which comes to your table on a sizzling platter and also the Biryani! B.Y.O.B as well which is handy.
The newly opened Spice Village Restaurant was a delight to visit. Decor was perfect, service attentive and food delicious. Wishing you every success
Shocking and disgraceful attitude by the "manager". Had high hopes but absolutely horrible experience by the staff which really puts me off to the extent did not even bother to eat there. Would strongly suggest to avoid this place, the staff are absolutely disgraceful.
Definitely recommend , Fantastic place , byob , we have been there over 50 times , great service & great food , great value too. The management & team are so nice
The food was fine but the restaurant was so old and run down looking. The card machine didn't work and they never told us until the end. The one toilet wasn't working.
Amazing food Best in a long time and so reasonably priced will be back before it closes for good in a few months time Just discovered it so will have to frequent often over the next few months
