We didn’t expect this in Rush and were truly surprised by the amazing quality of Indian Food. We ordered from Haldi, via Just Eat you can also directly call the Haldi restaurant and get it delivered, attached the menu and phone numbers. The portion size was more than enough for 2 people - we ordered 1 Jaipuri Chilli, 1 Bombay Aloo mains, 1 tandoori roti and 1 Coriander Naan ! All of the items tasted good, and were freshly prepared. I would specially recommend Jaipuri Chilli as a snacks one portion is good enough for 2 people. Roti & Naan were also very large in size and would be sufficient for 2 people. They also provided 2 types of delicious chutneys and papad ! In Dublin, we don’t order Indian food a lot and keep our expectations low but this experience was very different in a good way than our previous ones. The delivery was timely and the gentleman was very kind and cordial. A must recommend, if you are passing by Rush and craving for good Indian food :
We ordered chilli chicken and tikki in starters which were fine. Didn't like palak malai kofta but my husband liked lamb in main course.
*Update* No Stars No Stars No Stars I don't know what's happened, but after ordering from here many times ....it's safe to say I've ordered for the last time. I ordered for collection this evening and after traveling from skerries to collect the food and returning home I found my Madras to be creamy and not hot or spicy My partner phoned and explained about the dish and they were very nice and said I could drop out and collect a new dish. I asked if I could have vindaloo this time and that I had poured it over my rice. They said they would also replace the rice. I had also ordered chips ,nan bread and poppadoms which were all wasted while my partner ate alone. So after collecting the new dish and returning the old one so they could see it, I drove home finally to enjoy my dinner 40 minutes after I should have to my disgust I found some disgusting tuff kebab chicken that had been put into vindaloo sauce! The chicken was absolutely disgusting! Not even the decency to make a new dish, just some dirt thrown together. And also the wrong rice.... absolutely disgusted. I might as well have just taken my €50 and thrown it in the bin. I would not recommend this place at all. I'm actually shocked that they done this
Their quality is really bad. They localise the taste and no where close to authentic Indian food. Their meat also feels/tastes stale so be careful as this can be bad. lastly, they often mess up the order and then are reluctant to own it up and instead blame the customers for the wrong order even when it's online and very clear in the order. Overall i will given 2/10. Don't waste your money here
DISGRACEFUL!!! How can you have your business up and running in Rush? It’s clear like disgusting food and not Indian food at all. No flavour, dry chicken, sauces are all the same red sauce for different dishes tasting sweet, sugar or sweetener no flavour at all. Nonbread wasn’t tasty at all. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE GET NON BREAD AND TIKKA IN TESCO YOU’LL BE MORE SATISFIED. The restaurant owner/manager whether you change that chef and cope on with food quality or close down this restaurant. It’s a disgrace doesn’t deserve 4,2 on Google reviews.
I ordered take away after a busy day at work, as a lover of all things spicy in true Indian form, I was craving spicy chicken and rice my comfort food I called up the restaurant and requested then to tailor it to be spicy, they were kind enough to oblige and within 30 mins I was delivered hot spicy chicken and rice. The first bite beat all the stress out of me and after a long time I had good delicious food. Thank you chef Manish for Amazing food and quick delivery. 10/10 ordering again right now. "There is nothing chicken curry and rice can't fix" just as my mom used to say. The only place or Rush that takes me back to my grandmother's home made meal back at home.
Nice family friendly place,we had dinner one evening, the food was delicious. We had both vegetarian and meat options. We live in Rush,so it's great having a place so close serving lovely Indian dishes.Food: 5/5
Zero flavour. Chicken not tender more like hard and dry , and one tiny poppadon. A very charitable 2 Sorry but give a miss.
Last year when I visited Ireland, I made sure that I came to Haldi. Heard about the good food reviews from my friends and was excited to try the Chicken biryani and kebab. The aroma of it reminded of my moms home cooked meals and it was a reminder of how you could feel at home, even being 1000s of kms away. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in the European sub continent. Would definitely recommend people to try the delicacy here.
We had another lovely dinner in the newly renovated Haldi by Manish, Rush. The food was delicious and no special request too much. The chef took time to present and explain the dishes, while we enjoyed attentive, but unobtrusive service with good recommendations when requested. A really enjoyable evening! Thanks Folks, we’ll be back again soon.
