Harriet has been incredibly helpful in assessing, supporting and managing my care over the past few months. I have been a client of Ambition for the last 17 years from age 50 to 66!. My trainer, Jeff, is excellent and has kept me much fitter than I would otherwise have been, challenging me to do more, but not too much more, than I would otherwise have done. So I am still, e.g., skiing every year. I would also recommend Marc, one of their osteopaths. Whenever I have had an injury or similar issue, Marc has been excellent at giving me just the right treatment for the right length of time, with the result that I have quickly again become pain free. I cannot recommend the services provided by Ambition Health and Performance enough and it is life changing.  My personal trainer Giles is not only very professional and has a great degree of expertise and knowledge in a whole range of fitness routines, strength training, diets, treatment of injuries and how the body generally functions, but he is also a really nice guy who makes training fun. Over the last 12 months, I have gone from the arch typical over weight couch potato to having lost a quarter of my body weight and am now in a position to run medium to long distances and undertake regular intensive exercise that seemed a distance dream only 12 months ago. My goal was to lose weight and build up my core strength to address the numerous injuries that I seemed to sustain every time I exercised on my own.  Giles set a bespoke training programme to build up my core strength which was complemented by a new diet that he devised.  His knowledge of food and cuisine is something to behold and the countless receipts that he has up his sleeve makes eating healthy food much easier to contend with. The other key benefit of Ambition Health and Performance is the one stop service which includes both personal trainers and osteopaths which compliant each other well.  As my training intensified over time, I have experienced muscular and joint issues, particularly historic back and knee issues, and was able to receive treatment from Marc on these areas.  It was invaluable as he was then able to feedback to Giles the type of injury so specific exercises could be devised to treat and address the cause. I cannot recommend Giles and Marc enough if you want to change your life style and to get into shape again. Justin Partridge.
Ever since I started training with Jeff a couple of months ago, I've built up strength and mobility in a way that feels good, safe and lasting. I highly recommend working with Jeff, whether online or in person, and highly recommend following the daily schedule that he will build specifically for you depending on your fitness objectives and your body's strengths and weaknesses. I've also just started lifting for the first time in my life and am glad that Jeff is accompanying me on that journey too, with recommendations of weights and exercises that are right for me specifically.
I’ve been training with Giles for a few years now. My fitness levels have soared and I feel stronger and healthier. I’ve also benefited from his tailored nutritional advice, which has led to weight loss and muscle gain. Alongside seeing Giles I’ve also used the osteopathy services, which have been really helpful. The team at Ambition are all really helpful and friendly and Giles has helped me to reach all my goals. Highly recommended!
When the gym I used to go to on & off shut down, I decided to try having a personal trainer to be more disciplined. Ambition is near I live, and conveniently at the Queen Mother Sports Centre. Jeff, the boss, thought that Giles Wingrove would be the right trainer for me and he was right! I have a session with him every week since 2017, and I even go once or twice on my own in between to the gym upstairs to do a program he devised for me and regularly updates. Unusually I don't need to loose weight, but I want to be as fit and comfortable as I can in my 60s and later... With his great breadth of knowledge and adaptability to individual needs, Giles has visibly improved my strength and well-being, keeping it fun and interesting while pushing gently my limits. I had also a few useful sessions with Marc Dunn, the osteopath at Ambition, and it was very convenient that Marc and Giles could share their observations.
I have been working with Jeff & his team for many years and can say what a professional & dedicated team they are. I have found my overall fitness improve considerably. During COVID I have continued to work with Jeff who has provided excellent support with online corrective stretching workouts, cardio, & mobility exercises all designed to fit into a busy schedule& day. 15:/25 minutes session at a time.. really great & flexible. I highly recommend Ambitious Fitness& their services.. you won’t be disappointed.
I have been a client at Ambition Health and Performance for over 10 years taking advantage of many of the services on offer including Sports Massage, Osteopathy and Personal Training. I have been with my current PT, Giles Wingrove, for the past 5 years and am always impressed by his knowledge and passion for Health and Fitness. I feel he understands my goals completely and really encourages me and pushes me when he needs to to achieve them. He is a mind of information in terms of nutrition and health supplements and, over the years, has helped me build a bespoke plan which has improved my energy levels overall, and indeed my stamina during my sessions with him. He is flexible, intuitive and more importantly than anything else, he always makes the sessions fun! I would highly recommend Ambition Health and Performance!!
I've been a customer of Ambition Health since September 2016, working with Giles for personal training. I can honestly say that not only am I a great deal fitter than I was when I started, but it's been a lot of fun along the way. The whole team at Ambition are fantastic - warm & friendly, but also not afraid to push you. I've lost count of the number of times that Giles has asked me to do something that I genuinely didn't think I'd be able to do, and have then surprised myself when I could! Finding a personal trainer can be hard - you need someone who is going to help you achieve results, but you also need to get along with them. I for one would definitely not be motivated by a trainer who shouted instructions at me! At Ambition, it's all about motivating and supporting people in the way that works for them. I've also used the osteopathy at Ambition too - once for a problem with my knee, and once for a very weird problem with my hand that meant I couldn't hold a pen! On both occasions, Harriet was absolutely fantastic in getting me fixed. I'm really happy to recommend the Ambition team!
