I went to Naomi Murray for my rehab after my ACL reconstruction surgery. She was fantastic! We set down a recovery program to get me jogging as soon as possible, and back to football within a year of the surgery. Throughout my rehab, she consistently monitored and recorded my progress, addressing all my inquiries and worries promptly. Naomi's dedication to going above and beyond was evident in her efforts to ensure the success of my rehabilitation process.
Sarah and Kieran have been helping me recovering from a severe ankle injury. After surgery and a couple of months being stuck in bed, their expertise made the difference as they got me back on my feet. I am extremely satisfied with their support and I would strongly recommend Physio remedies to anyone needing fast and safe recovery. Thanks!
Over the past 15 years I have much to thank Sarah and her team for. My longstanding sciatic pain is gone, my calcified left shoulder has been free of pain for a decade, and now my hip is pain free after major surgery in September. Sarah's ability to assess the situation and either resolve it or refer me to top class surgeons has been a boon, and I recommend her practice without reservation.
I had a full knee replacement in February 2022. In the weeks before the operation I was treated by Physiotherapist Naomi Murray. She worked hard to get my leg as strong as possible telling me that this would help enormously with the recovery. Since the operation Naomi has worked on my rehabilitation. She is meticulous in her work and is an expert on lower body problems. Thanks to Naomi my surgeon has described my progress as ‘phenomenal’. Four months after the operation have good flexion and extension and am highly mobile. I cannot praise Naomi highly enough. She is very skilled, tough but sensitive to the limits of pain and a brilliant guiding hand. If you have any physio needs the Physio Remedies should be your first port of call.
I was training to swim the English Channel and after some shoulder and lat injuries, was looking for an experienced sports massage therapist to help get me to the start line as fit and healthy as possible. I'd previously booked a generic sports massage from a popular London app and found the lack of sport-specific experience meant the massage didn't cut the mustard. After some research, I found Emily, who was so well qualified I didn't hesitate to book a five session package. I could not have made a better choice! The massages were excellent. Emily immediately knew which problem areas to focus on. However, what really sets Emily apart is the incredibly broad and deep sport-related knowledge that she brings to the table. Not only did she manage to work out all of my minor strains and tightness with remarkable accuracy, but she was able to help me make sure that these injuries didn't happen again in the future. For a swimmer, with Emily I hit the jackpot in a sports massage therapist that is also a marathon swimmer, biomechanics expert and a swim coach! And I wouldn't hesitate to go to her for any other sporting injuries. Thanks to Emily, I crawled out of the Channel onto the beach in France free of injuries and pain killers after nearly 14 hours of swimming. After my swim, I am still going to her for massages and have even booked my wife a professional photographer with shoulder pain in too. Could not recommend more highly.
Visited Physio Remedies for an ankle issue I had developed running. They immediately found time for me and quickly spotted the issue, and have provided plenty of exercises to improve the situation. Can thoroughly recommend.
Had my Physio/acupuncture session with Kamila to treat my frozen shoulder. I can honestly say that this session is nothing like any other physio treatments I've had in the past. It was exactly what i wanted. Kamila was fun, chatty, entertaining, and really helped ease my fear of the needles, which did not hurt at all also different to accupuncture i've had in the past where they were excruciatingly painful :- All other Physiotherapists I've had in the past concentrated on making me do exercises, which can easily be found on the internet. Kamila started with explaining her plan for the session, got me prepared for the treatment, then got to work. Starting with a nice massage on my shoulder to warm it up, stabbed me with needles, then did some muscular manipulation thingy which felt amazing and ticklish...and painful, but fun. Then followed up with an email with a series of exercises to do at home, which are easy to follow. I'm so grateful it wasn't a case of paying for a session with someone watching me exercise. Highly recommended and looking forward to more sessions :
If I could give Emily at Physio Remedies 10 stars, I would! She is a genius sports therapist who has made it possible for me to get back to swimming as I struggle with degenerative Kypho-scoliosis and the chronic pain that goes with it. I would not be swimming this summer if it were not for her talent as a sports massage therapist and swim instructor. I am deeply indebted to her for her expertise and confidence with which has tackled my back and shoulder problems and made everything feel a whole lot better. I am definitely factoring in ongoing sessions to keep me mobile. Thank you Emily so much!!
Naomi Murray has been fantastic whilst supported my recovery from ACL surgery, tailoring my programme to fit my specific sports and performance levels. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Charlie is an efficient and patient physio, I injured my lowerback and shoulder. After a few sessions with him I am fully healed now.
