Easy to find, plenty of parking. Rooms standard comfy, modern and clean as expected bathroom was a bit rough round the edges. It's a odd looking building. Stayed for work, excellent location, just off the motorway round the corner from the thornbury industrial estate. Restaurant attached was lovely.Rooms: 4/5
After a shocking stay at another hotel very close to this one, it was nice to somewhere that was clean and bright. Premier Inn is a bit like McDonalds, not the best but pretty much the same wherever you go. We would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 4/5
Classic Premier Inn, clean and comfortable. We arrived on crutches, so they smoothly moved us to a ground floor room. The renovations advised at booking caused us no problems at all. Occasional traffic noise, but nothing to keep us awake at night. Really positive staff. Food & drinks: The attached Ship Inn had a really appealing menu, but was more expensive than we wanted to pay when we were tired from travelling. The nearby Mason's Arms was a good quality, family friendly, food pub with carvery. Breakfast at the Ship Inn was standard fare, very well delivered.
Horrendous stay. Photo illustrated on Premier Inn website was not actual hotel. Its like a run down Bates Motel. Construction and refurbishment works being carried out on corridor as guests walking by. Freezing cold rooms with no working thermostats. Tired furnishings. It should be shut down.Rooms: 1/5
As other reviewers have said, it's not the most attractive building, but this is more than made up for by the comfortable rooms and the extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great value, we paid £35 for the night. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Very impressed with this Premier Inn. Even though work was being carried out it didn't affect us at all. Lovely staff & rooms were so comfortableRooms: 5/5
This place was convenient for us. It's rather dated now but ok. The main inconvenience was that unlike other premier Inns the breakfast on Saturday didn't start till 8.00 , not realised until check-in. As we had to be somewhere by 8.30 it meant a very hurried breakfast, shame.Rooms: 5/5
Staff very very welcoming. Only good thing I can say. Found it like a rundown old holiday camp from the 1960s. I shall be making my views know else where in due course. Noteworthy details: Stay away
Arrived to find AC didn’t work and the heater had been left on so the room was boiling , the bathroom was very small and could do with some repairs , bath panel and some cracks required filling and painting , bathroom was dusty with cobwebs hanging down and bathroom light flickering and took 3/4 min for water to get hot in the shower. Main room was ok although glasses were a little dirty , reception were polite and helpful so no problems there and breakfast in the ship inn was really tasty and had a great selection . Slept well could just do with repairs and attention to detail and more space per room . So for that I will rate 2star OK rating .
Brilliant. fabulous Premier Inn beds, good size rooms over looking cricket club...so you can watch a game.... warm welcoming & friendly staff. Big shout out to the manager who was amazing. Great breakfast too at the Ship next door. Fantastic location. We look forward to our next stay with you.
