I decided on only 3 stars as the chance of finding a parking spack for larger vehicles is slim. They also have these aweful huge rocks preventing a van from parking as far into the space as possible. The spaces are almost always taken up unless you arrive at 4 to 5 am. There is some alton towers music coming out of speakers in the car park. The hoyel car parks seem very clean and maintained. The yellow and green foot prints previously used by kids to find their way to and from as well as between the hots have faded away. Parking is difficult for larger vehicles. If you get a good parking space, dont move.
Admittedly one of the less exciting parts of Alton Towers. The parking spaces are marked out by the use of white lines on the floor, which is a system favoured by many car parks which, while efficient and functional, sorely lacks any originality or flair which could mark it out as one of the truly great car parks. Although the view was slightly spoiled by a parent helping a toddler pee onto the ground by what I assume was their car, the trees surrounding it on all sides are enough to provide a serene backdrop, which is preferable to a foreboding dark forest in which you fear your own murder. So in all, a car park with mums and young people in mind. Dads, and indeed many teenagers, may be left wanting a more authentic experience.
It can be a bit hard finding a parking space but it's not impossible

As car parks go, this is quite a good one. There is ample room to leave your vehicle where it can take a well earnt rest from being driven. There are many trees, shrubs and good views which ensure your motor will not get bored whilst you are off at the theme park or splash park. The only worry is from the local avian hoodlums that relish in peppering the bodywork with excrement. This can be avoided by picking a more open spot, or by bringing your pet eagle.
We parked here and was no problems at all there was lots of spaces not to badly priced as we were staying over. We was able to assess our car as much a we wanted. Wasn't a problem at all :
Huge car park no issues finding space. I was staying in enchanted village though and quite a hike to car park.
Get your parking ticket online .. So much easier and effective
Attended an interview as interpreter here. Parking was easy. Staff were lovely. Everything clean and tidy.
