Security cameras gave peace of mind regarding damages if any were to occur. The lifts are in working order so there is no need to take the stairs if you don't want to. Bathroom facilities are located on the same property by the train station. Lighting is adequate for both the interior and exterior of the premises.
The only disabled pick up spaces are in the main car park which costs £12.50 if you exceed the free 20 minute period. This makes it very complicated when I need to collect someone from a train: park car, go to platform, wait for station to provide exit ramp, negotiate lifts to get to exit, return to car, dismantle wheelchair and pack it in the car. It is not reasonable to expect this to be done in 20 minutes - this disability discrimination is probably not intentional, but I really expected more. It would be less of an issue if you could pay for just one hour.
Extortionate price for after 6. Took train to Wolverhampton to theatre, parked for no more than 4 hours at £12! Why is there no off peak time charge. No encouragement to use train to avoid car usage!
I pre-booked parking at the train station via Avanti's website. Fri PM to Sun PM cost just over £20.This is quite reasonable for parking at a train station. I was provided with a QR code via email, this worked at the entrance without any issues. As it is a timed entry, it is advisable not to arrive before the allocated time slot start. Car park spaces are spacious enough for standard size vehicles. Off road and 4x4 might be a bit tight. Would recommend this car park and definitely will use again.
Easy to find and as I got there quite early I didn't struggle to park. Paying was easy usual price for this type of car park.
