I used to love Aldo,  would go at least twice a month and at least buy one pair every time. I own more than 100 pair of their shoes. but after i had a v bad experience at that shop, I have since stopped buying or visiting their shop completely a year ago. I purchased a pair of shoes from them that were default- the colour of one pair was slightly different from the other pair. However, i didn't check properly before i wearing it, then i soon realised. Went back to the store, the assistant manager refused to refund /exchange, not that i care about the money but it was a matter of principle and humiliation!! She kept saying that it was my fault and i shouldn't have worn it! Then i said if i genuinely knew i wouldn't have worn it, who would wear two different colour of shoes? She then laughed and said YOU! It was such a big insult i received there, who talk to their customer like that?  I love the shoes, but it wasn't my fault that the colour of the pair does not match, it was a manufacturing fault! how can they blame that on their customer? I made a complaint to their headquarter, then received a phone call from the store manager asking me to go back and refund me. I  went back, the store manager asked someone to process the refund for me, she didn't even bother to say anything or do the refund herself even she wasn't busy! And the assistant manger was also there without saying a word apart from a dirty look!  The only thing the store manager said to me was reply the email to their headquarters saying the matter has been resolved. I have to say, the store manager often v nice every time i visit the store and their other staff before, but in this incident,  the matter was resolved v poorly!! So i left the store knowing they still think that it was my fault and i was being cheeky/dishonest or difficult, and they only refund me because of the pressure from above.

I was just  taking a look, but the staff was so pleasant and attentive that I left the shop with a pair of shoes and a big smile!!
