Always a great selection of meats and fresh produce. The best flowers; last longer than any other supermarket. Wine of the week and a great selection of all wines. All of this at great prices.
Great shop, great staff always willing to help & answer queries. I needed a checkout to open up as we had a trolly full and someone was there instantly, my toddler dropped some raisins all over the floor which I offered to clear up and the staff we exceptionally helpful they shut the till so no one put pressure on us & the man working kindly swept away the mess.
Need to update your photos, store is much nicer after the refit. Some staff are friendly, most just ignore the customer is even there whilst chatting about their personal lives on those ridiculous headsets. Security guard is rude, ignorant and spends more time chatting on his phone and eyeing up the ladies.
Ive been using this branch since it opened back in 1997/8.nIt was great to have an Aldi within walking distance.nI say walking co the car park is atrociously difficult to get to with a trolley. Many is the time I've seen people overturn a trolley on the kerbs and scatter their groceries everywhere.nAnyhoo, Nowadays though its a pretty poorly stocked store when it comes to the Special Buys.nnThey hardly get anything in. I went a week ago to get a retractable garden hose. Nil stock.nnI spoke to a staff member recently to as if the store is being run down in preparation for closing down.nShe looked quite shocked at that and went all defensive.nnShe assured me that it was not the case.nI went in 20 minutes ago to get some snow foam car shampoo and a shampoo gun as they were due in today 15 May 25.nNil stock.nnI can't wait for the proposed new and bigger store with easier accessfarther up Wallisdown Road to get started.
Lovely local store that is perfectly located for all your essentials. Staff are always so helpful and happy to help.
