"Aikido of London was established in 1994 by Ismail Hasan. After several years in Bloomsbury near the British Museum the membership out grew the tiny space and moved to Archway in 2018.The classes taught are Aikido, weapons and Iaido. The classes taught include beginners workshops and a growing youth program 7-15yrs old. In addition to the weekly adult schedule Aikido of London offers private individual, group and corporate workshops.In the Summer of 2017 we proudly taught over 300 children in a cultural event held by The British Museum which focused on the artistic works of Hokusai. In 2019 we delivered a workshop for Sekiro a major Samurai based computer game.Visitors and prospective students are welcome."

I'm quite new practicing Aikido but the first day I went there I know it this is the place!! Incredibly skilled teacher ,attention to details and old way of training makes this dojo best I ever been. Respect for the teacher Ismail Hasan and all he's students for best quality and atmosphere.
If you are looking for a "Real" practice of Aikido, this is the place. Professional instructor, great ambience, positive energy. Ismail Hasan Sensei is a great teacher, his extensive experience gives him the tools to address each of us aikidokas individually, no matter how big the class is he can identify his students key of improvement at anytime.... and that is what is needed from a good instructor. Come along and see it by yourself.
Well 'anyone whose interest in aikido Should be familiar with the great masters.. Ismail hasan was one of those who studied directly under one of the great masters eyes.. If you are interested in body work this is certainly a great opportunity.. The archway school is considerably equipped to substantiate all levels of requests.. There is also a traditional orthodox system of sword work..
I have been training Aikido around the world for 20 years and this dojo surpassed all my expectations. If you are looking for top quality environment with world class tuition this is the place to go to in London.
If you are searching for a place to learn traditional aikido technique and receive instructuons from one of the top aikido teachers, this is the dojo to go to. The training is intensive and the bunch of people is great! Those individulas who left negative feedback did not want to follow a simple procedure of joining the dojo. Well, this is a self-selection process.
Ismail Hasan is a master of aikido. Spent years as a deshi with T. K. Chiba and has dedicated his life to the art. The level of practice in the dojo is the best in London and quite possible the best in the world.
Incredible level of teaching of my 11yr old. Disciplined but friendly and genuine. Cannot recommend highly enough.
