Well massive disappointment. Ate there on the recommendation from the Hotel I was staying at. Nice decor and a quaint “diner”. Staff are pleasant and attentive… That’s where it ends. I ordered Pulled Pork Croquettes as a starter, and a NY Strip Steak with fries as a main and a strawberry shake which was nice. Staff member returned to tell me the Croquettes were unavailable. So I chose a bowl of chips instead of a cup as originally ordered. I ordered my steak medium rare. The food arrived and the lady told me the chips are complimentary due to the croquettes being unavailable. What came was a flat top fried breakfast steak!! There is NO WAY in heaven or hell you can get a 1cm thick steak med-rare. The steak was super tough, the fat was raw and not rendered nicely and a third could not be eaten due to the sinew. Chips were nice … I don’t eat fried mushrooms or fields of odd looking salad garnish. A serviette holder is available on the table but must be for show, coz I had to ask for a serviette When the bill came no offer of a tooth pick … low and behold charged for the chips AND asked for a gratuity.
If you do just one thing here, order the Cajun fries! They’re delicious. The halloumi burger was tasty but not amazing. It was a little too big to eat properly so you had to deconstruct it because the peppers and things were a little cumbersome. But I would recommend the place and go back, especially for the fries. The decor is cute, trying to be an American diner with brick walls, blue and red vinyl chairs and booths, even the front of a car on the wall. And the staff were friendly but not too in-your-face, which was nice to just eat and enjoy.
Great place if you want an affordable dinner! Can't remember what burger I had but it was delicious . My Girlfriend had the fajitas and highly recommended them too! Really lovely staff here too. This place is under rated
Amazing burgers! We liked the vegetarian burger more than the chicken. It was amazing. Very fast service. If you are looking for juicy burgers should visit this place. There are options for beers and drinks as well.
This place is great. Got the veggie burger it was great. Also got side of fries, personally they are just like in-n-out. Chocolate peanut butter shake to finish delicious. Staff amazing
Quite the hole in the wall. Service was a bit slow but man did they deliver on quality, flavour, and huge portions! Delicious food and friendly service and reasonably priced. Thanks!
Good food. Ordered the pulled pork fries side and the chicken tenders appetizer. Both were tasty and done well. Probably should have ordered a side of the corn as that looked good too..
Came here for a half-full dinner service. Service was okay but rather slow. The food was a hit or miss. I ordered the fried chicken that came with fries and a piece of grilled corn. My corn was absolutely burnt till onyx black and was carbonised on all sides. The fried chicken was overcooked and came with a rather burnt exterior. The main was overall rather unpleasant and even worse than most take-outs. However my partners mac and cheese fared much better. The mac had a nice consistency and cheesiness to it. Having tried the mac and cheese, it made me wish what my fried chicken could have been. I daren't imagine the place during a full service.
Good Veg burger with cheesy fries.. veg burger and mocktail for a workday! Nice staff! Tasty food in ample of quantity! 4 stars!
Nice atmosphere and setting. Good range of beers and cocktails but a bit expensive as it's almost £10 for 2 pints.
