Abdul's Tandoori Spice

Quite a disappointment after having read all the positive reviews. Sugary and greasy (buttery) Naans, sugary mild curries, just the hot dish was fine, but not hot (spicy) at all. It's either the chef was in love with the sugar tonight or the standard, but we are used to Indian and Tandoori in London and I never tasted something like this. I doubt this is their custom recipe, it looks to me more an unhealthy cooking habit just when they campaign to cut the sugar from our diets. As tourist I would not recommend naan and mild curry, rice and hot will be a better choice. The staff and service is good though, nothing to complain about that part.

A gem of a restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. The food was more in keeping with the Asian food capitals of Birmingham and Bradford than a Welsh town. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal here when visiting family in Cardigan the staff were very professional and friendly ,you can take your own wine or whatever you drink. Only one small criticism and that was the curry was not as hot as it should have been , othereise a very enjoyable evening and looking forward to our next visite , Abdul took time to speak to us when my brother introduced my husband and I to him . 😊.

Really good, authentically Indian food plus friendly staff makes for a great night out!! Would definitely recommend, plus lighting makes for a nice romantic evening with the husband/wife or a relaxed family meal!! However, just feel its worth mentioning that you need to bring your own wine - but the food more than makes up for that!!
