Went for a Welsh afternoon tea. On the whole it was good but the jam was awful. More like a blob of tasteless goo. The welsh cakes were awful, very cold, undercooked and dry. We took them home to warm them up. A slight improvement only. Car park very poor, needs properly surfacing. Horrid plastic plants outside. The views are amazing but I think you are using that as an excuse for average food. Wouldn't like to have visited before the re-furb.

Stayed here for the first time Friday the 19th January, a Christmas present from my husband, we had a lovely meal and drinks, to then go to bed around midnight, the bed was very uncomfortable, we were woke at 5am to two screaming kids, which went on till 7am, by this time wide awake, we had booked a treatment in the spa, which we cancelled as this family and children were in there still screaming and shouting, I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but our experience with our bed and the guests in room 20 was a nightmare! I know when I was downstairs talking to the gentleman on reception, someone else was complaining about room 20, certainly not a relaxing stay, so we will definitely not be going back! Just an apology isn't really good enough!

I have zero complaints, the room is really nice and the twin sized bathroom is brilliant. The food is faultless, generously sized portions and the views from the restaurants and the rooms are perfect. I live locally but will be coming back again for not only for the spa treatments and a couples night away

Just stayed at this hotel. Last visited it three years ago and it has been vastly improved. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms (with views) were excellent. We ate dinner and breakfast which were all good in a restaurant overlooking the sea and beach. It has a golf course and a path to the sea (several small sandy beaches with good access) and we saw several seals feeding in the surf. If you are keen on walking the coastal footpath to Mwnt has been realigned and is now very good.
