We had our first visit to the Daffodil on Valentine's day and had a fabulous lunch. We had been told that the food was great and it really was fabulous. We were well looked after and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had drinks and then when our food was ready we were shown to our table. The dining room is light and airy with views over the valley. Food was delicious. We both had bubble and squeak with soft poached eggs to start and they were cooked to perfection. I had sea bass risotto for main and my husband had beef cheek. Both excellent. I had amaretto crème brulee for pudding and my husband had pineapple upside down cake with rum and custard. Again delicious. After lunch we had coffees relaxing by the fire. We even got some home made dog treats to take home for our dog. A really wonderful experience, we can't wait to go back!

Me & my partner were stopping in a cottage for 3 nights, on our last night we decided to have a meal at the daffodil after seeing the really good reviews in the visitor book in the cottage we stayed in. Food was lovely! Couldn't fault it. We took our little dog along with us, he enjoyed his doggy ice cream. Well recommended. Staff were very helpful & friendly. We loved every minute of it. Thank you. 😊
