Prompt, polite service from both the receptionist and the taxi driver. Nice warm, clean car, no smell of smoke etc. Smooth relaxing drive and delivery to the door of our destination. I would recommend this company, actually its the only one we will use in Chesterfield , as living on a main road we often see taxi drivers speeding, but we have never seen anyone from this company driving irresponsibly.
We were strangers to the area, and found cabs listed on the internet. We phoned 3 days in advance for a time. Your cab came right on time and took me to the railway station, the driver was concerned re the time of my train. Driver very friendly and chatting. Arrived in good time, would strongly recommend. The receptionist was also very good. Thank you.
Booked a taxi from Eye Clinic to my home in Hasland. I only had to wait 10 minutes despite it being rush hour. The driver was polite and friendly When you ring A-LINE TAXIS you get to speak to a person for much more personal service than a recorded response Certainly recommend them
New to the area and rang after finding the number online. The lady I spoke with when booking directed to me to somewhere I could be collected as I was in the middle of the town center. Really friendly and helpful. Driver was with me in around 10 minutes of me calling. Will definitely be using again.
Asked for a taxi to transport a patient between two hospitals and was told it would have to be paid up front. I understand the practice with groups or people likely to try and dodge the fare but when the hospital have the money it puts staff like me in a difficult position. In the end it was agreed and we were able to pay at the destination but it was a shame to be put in that position. The taxi driver was really lovely though and it didn't take long to arrive.
Taxi from work to home. Lady driver very friendly made me feel comfortable and safe straight away. Took me to where I wanted to go without going around the houses etc. Price quoted was price asked for. Definitely use again.
Visiting in chesterfield used A-line Taxies as we got lost I must say what a lovely service . The driver was a lovely young lady who even stopped for us to run into a local convenience store . The car was lovely clean and warm very clean and comfortable. Again I used the taxi service the next day to go home from the town centre and again a excellent service and this time we got a wonderful the gentleman driving us he was so respectful and friendly the car was again clean and warm and just all round a very positive experience. Top quality. Steven was very friendly and really kind. Showed great interest in me and did not cross any boundaries in the way he asked questions. Would love to have him pick me up again
Very professional company, friendly drivers, Option to pay cash or contactless. Got a text updating me that traffic delayed. Got an app to track the driver. On calling back your phone is linked to the booking and told me time to wait , which car and registration number. The driver was really friendly and helped me in the car taking me to A and E. will definitely use again normally a car driver myself Thankyou
Booked in advance at a time advised by one of the call handlers. Taxi arrived 30 minutes late and my daughter ended up missing half of her class. When the taxi finally arrived it was nowhere near the entrance to my home. Absolutely useless service. Will not use again and will be warning others not to use.
