Sharing the block with East of Arcadia and Pappa John's, Zucco has brought vibrant tasty food to Meanwood in a range on sharing plates that will satisfy most palates and appetites. I've been here lots of times and the quality is always great. My personal favourites are the lamb dish and an octopus plate that was next level! (Sadly not on the menu recently). Friendly staff, a great selection of drinks and reggae tunes in the background all provide a great backdrop to outstanding Italian cuisine.

What a find! A cut above your average Italian. Good food and a soundtrack that's not overpowering. Go - eat!

The restaurant is a lovely size and beautifully fitted out. We visited in December and the place was very tastefully festooned in home made decorations. Even the toilets had hand made decorations in them (oranges studded with cloves then tied with ribbons). The menu encourages you to share small plates and so we did. Every item was delicious but I could eat the arancini balls for days! The menu is full of interesting fresh dishes and is not the pasta heavy affairs you find in chain Italians. We had tasty Italian soft drinks we'd never heard of and the dolci and coffees were great too. You really got the feeling the team cares about the place and its food and they have invested themselves in the small details. This was my first visit and I shall certainly be back!
