In general I really like Zizzi's menu because their gluten free pizza bases and vegan cheese are some of the best I've tried in chain restaurants. But the other day I visited the Tunbridge Wells branch with my whole family, and thought the restaurant wasn't up to it's usual standard. The waitress told us that they had run out of several dishes from the Christmas special menu, which didn't change our food choices, but did seem like a long list of missing items. Then once we ordered, the waitress kept coming back to tell us things we ordered had run out too. If these were unusual ingredients I wouldn't of thought much of it, but they had run out of GARLIC BUTTER AND VANILLA ICE CREAM. Surely they're pretty easy and crucial things to keep in stock at a family Italian style restaurant?

Always good food at Zizzi. Generally walk in and tables available. Also accepts tastecard which is even better.

We've been to Zizzi's a few times but won't be going back. Service was slow, food was ok but was given an alternative meal without being consulted first, so felt obliged to have it. Gluten free pizza base was soggy and not nice. Toilets didn't flush and the whole place could have done with a lick of paint. The one saving grace was the online discount of 30%, which meant we didn't have to pay the full price!

Great food and service . Was a very clean restaurant 😊 would return again . Pleased for a quick pizza 😊

So far the best zizzi experience I have had. Food is cooked just perfect and served with a big smile!
