Truly the best fish and chips (and battered sausage) you can get in Tunbridge Wells and in my experience the rest of England. The service is always exceptional with great friendly staff and one of the most beautiful things is that they can do your battered fish as gluten free! My partner is a coeliac and appreciates this so much as it’s unheard of and the taste is just as beautiful, my family didn’t even know the difference! I highly recommend you give it a go. Oh and one more thing..the portions are insanely generous, you’ll never be hungry after a trip to downtown fish bar just satisfied!

Best fish and chips in Tunbridge Wells. I have been coming here for years and the new owners are lovely. The fish is well sized and chips delicious. Highly recommended

A very good chip shop. It was very busy when we visited which is always a good sign. Reasonable prices for food and the chips were proper fluffy and roughly cut.
