Busy bar and restaurant on the Saturday I was there at the lower end of the High Street in Tunbridge Wells. Less than 5 minutes walk from the main train station. Good selection of food and drink, with everyone agreeing in our group that the food was well presented and tasted good! With this and the nice surroundings inside you do pay a bit more for visiting here - our bill was around £330 for six of us, which included their added 10% tip. We sat in the large area to the right hand side under the semi circular roof which is well heated in winter with large, orange glowing lamps; however the orange 'lounger' seats are very uncomfortable to be used for serving dinner to guests. I strongly recommend you ensure you get a table with 'regular' chairs. These lounger chairs [in this area] are more suited to a swanky roof top bar in Miami where you might not mind ending up sliding in to a horizontal position!

Very nice looking place 5*, very nice staff 5*, unfortunately food is not eatable 0*. Good for drinks not good for having dinner.

Incredibly busy and noisy. Service was good but food was pretty awful! And extremely expensive. Would recommend as a bar, but definitely not as a restaurant.

I've always been a fan but in the last few years the staff have been less attentive and drinks service has got decidedly slower. Food and drink always good.

Very nice venue with good cocktails. It does have one massive problem... The service is very slow, they don't have enough bar staff because they have to prepare drinks orders for the restaurant. So if your at the bar and there is a lot of restaurant drinks orders then you will be waiting a long time. It's a shame as this is a nice venue that just needs more bar staff!!
