Garlic nan with yellow coconut curry is amazing. We also had chef’s ram blah, it was okay though. Nice service, good location.
Ambience: We were given a table for two around a corner inside the restaurant. Romantic place indeed with a good view out of the available tables there. Only downside was that it was sooo cold and we could literally feel the cold evening Edinburgh wind through the poorly isolated walls. - on the other hand it might have been a boon on a hot day. Food: Apart from the fact that the food was not hot, we both did not like the taste of what we ordered. We would rather go an extra mile looking for other options in the surrounding the next time.
The food never disappoints here, my favourite dishes are the king prawn puri and lamb karahi with garlic naan. Service is always exceptional and location is ideal being right in the heart of Edinburgh city centre.
Fabulous food and great service. Up there with the best curry houses without a doubt. I look forward to my next visit
It was absolutely amazing. The staff was really nice, the food was truly delicious, the prices are decent and the restaurant has all the security measures. I really recommend it.
Nice, small Indian restaurant just off of St Andrews Square, a great place to have a meal or celebration. You know the place is good, when people from the local area drop in for something to eat. The service was great & the food was absolutely beautiful. The best recommendation I can give is that I will definitely be back..
An obligatory trip to an Indian while on a short break to Edinburgh - Food was delishous and my dish 'Saag Gosht' with lamb was well cooked with tender meat. Other table chicken dishes with Tikka and Tandori we're also exceptionally well cooked and full of flavour. A little on the pricey side where a standard Chicken Madras is £13+?! No the less, I would recommend
Such friendly people and big portions*! We got a takeaway and the food was delicious; It only took 20 minutes to have the order ready. I would happily recommend to anyone looking for some nice Indian food from a local business. I wish I lived closer! *Back in California Indian food portions are small, so this may be normal here.
The food is really good but the portions are quite small for the price. The service is great but the decor was not kind of authentic.Food: 4/5
Great place to dine in. Good customer service and the food is tasty also. Simple and neat ambience. Amazing locality.
