Have been going here for takeaway for years. Having tried others over the years we still think Rose of India is the best. Very friendly staff, tasty food with good portions and not swimming in oil. You have to wait longer maybe than at other restaurants but it's worth it IMHO.

To me this has been the best Indian restaurant in Chelmsford for years. The team, faced with challenging times have branched out into delivery and I can honestly say it was delicious. If you were a regular go back to support the business and if you are new... you’ve just hit jackpot!
Waiters has terrible accents
Ordered the Rose special lamb chilli bhuna and Heleem tender. Definitely THE best Indian food I have ever had. The dishes were perfectly spiced and the flavours were absolutely amazing!!!
