Lovely food. New local when in Chelmsford. Food takes an absolutely age to come but worth the wait. Top marks.
Awesome and tasty food, I loved the character this place has, and the staff members were helpful. Will definitely visit here when I’m around.
We're new to the area and placed an order for delivery. It arrived in the promised time but it was pretty dreadful. A good 5mm of oil on the surface of our masalas and neither of them looked or tasted like any masala we'd had anywhere before. We won't be using them again.
2 hours and order still isn't here. no communication from restaurant. phone number is permanently engaged. no idea what is happening UPDATE: food arrived after 3 hours. portions small. quality mediocre. if this restaurant was in east london you'd be bankrupt within 6 months. never EVER again
My first review Was very good but i have had to change my review because of their delivery service. I have been waiting hour and 45 minutes and they cannot even tell me where my food is. All they say is sorry. 45 minutes ago it was on its way and they were stuck in traffic i live 8 mins away from the restaurant
Big shout out to Indian Chef. During lockdown we have had 4 takeaways from them and the food is soooooo good. Big portions and good value for money.Prompt delivery. Guys very friendly. Even had boss man tonight.Will certainly be going to their restaurant when they re-open! Colin
Surprisingly good food. Not at all what I was expecting from this out of place Indian in Chelmsford. I was expecting mediocre at best but was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was Why is this place not busy? That is the question that kept cropping up in my head.
Great prices and strong flavours in the food. Clear from the quality and taste of the dishes that all ingredients garlic, herbs etc are freshly prepared for each dish. Restaurant is great at accommodating for large groups as walk-ins 10+.
