Really really fantastic quality. The food is served beautifully in a contemporary style - something you don't get in most places. Cocktails are nice. I do think the menu could do with being a pound or two less. For example the poppadoms were around £5. My Old Fashioned arrived without orange peel - I had to ask them to rectify it as they didn't do this themselves. They were out of orange. After asking them they fixed it quickly and added lemon. Overall very pleased. Would come back again.
The food is amazing. The place, the staff and everything is really awesome. Highly recommending the place . It os one of the very few places that really serves real Indian food . A little pricey with a smaller than normal portions but the quality is way better than quantity
LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!! The home of authentic Indian food! This restaurant is one we have visited since they were based in Ilford and after re visiting and rediscovering they are in Chelmsford the food is still INSANE and quality is to perfection! Genueinly can't explain how this restaurant is 10/10 from interior, service and of course the quality of food and drink! Look no further and book as you won't regret it! Cant wait to be back again but this time on a Friday or Saturday for the live music too! 10/10 and our favourite restaurant hands down!!!
What a beautiful Restaurant. I’ve curried around the world and had many curries but without doubt, The Pakwaan Restaurant is phenomenal. Great vegan options, Great wine & spirit list. The best Lamb & chicken in the norther and southern hemispheres and really lovely staff and great Owner. Genral Manager John of this restaurant is another highlight he is a lovely man with great hospitality. 

But don’t take my word for it, check for yourself.

We had dinner at the Pakwaan yesterday evening. It was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious with a very diverse and different menu. This restaurant is West End worthy. The staff were attentive without being invasive and immaculately turned out. The decor is beautiful and very ambient. Cleanliness is obviously very important too. The produce used was very high quality. Brenda made the evening very special for us and we were lucky enough to meet Rajesh, who is clearly passionate about his restaurant and rightly so. Thank you all. A very wonderful experience.
Amazing experience. The service from Ronnie was impeccable. The food was utterly sublime and it was good to meet the head chef - he certainly knows how to cook! And lovely to meet Raj and tell him what an amazing restaurant he has. We definitely be back soon.
This was our first visit here and it is such a lovely place, really friendly and helpful staff and the food was incredible! The food was authentic with lovely flavours. My husband and I can't wait to visit again. There was so much choice on the menu.Food: 5/5
I had visited Pakwaan for the first time and the experience wasn’t great. To start off, we had to wait for more than an hour for our starters to be served. Food at Pakwaan didn’t live to our expectations.The live music was too loud that you can’t have a proper conversation if you are coming along with your family. For a fine dine restaurant, the music is too loud. Another aspect which was disappointing was the fact that the tables at Pakwaan don’t have a table cloth and the cutlery is just placed directly onto the table by the waiters. How hygienic is that especially for a fine dining restaurant? The only positive aspect for us was the hospitality of the staff especially John and Raj. Overall, I wouldn’t want to visit Pakwaan again.
Had a family meal at this amazing restaurant. Incredible food and experience from the moment we arrived. Will be back soon for more of the delicious food. Thank you to the staff and management for making our evening special.
Celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary. This was the first time at this restaurant. Had an enjoyable time, food was absolutely fantastic being vegetarian I do enjoy my Indian food & very picky, the dishes ordered really impressed me. Paprika Chaat and Karahi Paneer and I was very impressed with the taste. Also spoke to the chef to thank him. Music by a live singer which made the evening more enjoyable even better was the staff bringing out a cake with a candle and wished me and my wife a Happy Anniversary. Many thanks to all at Pakwaan, made our Anniversary memorable. Will be returning for my birthday soon
