There’s a reason it’s always busy - such amazing freshly cooked food! There’s such a huge menu and you can really make and make it healthier or more indulgent. The salt & pepper tofu is my absolute favourite, I’ve been back every single week since I first had it!!!! Good vegan menu, don’t feel like you’re missing out at all!
I always go there when I feel like having Asian food. So many varieties of dishes and nice teas. I personally like honey lemon tea and Chinese tea. The owner- Lilly is very sweet and friendly. Very tasty and authentic food. Noodles with soup and fried rice won't disappoint you. Salt and pepper chips are to die for! I will always keep coming back to this place.
Just as the name suggest! Mainly UNI students come here. Very popular! For obvious reason, very reasonable prices and yummy dishes. Quite authentic Chinese flavours! We had the Salt and Pepper Squid, Chilli Chicken,Signature Fried Noodles, Sliced Fish with Pickled Cabbage. Love the spiciness. Fish is good because no bones in it, even locals would enjoy it! Chilli Chicken is ideal with bowls of rice to eat with! Very friendly couple owners. Highly recommend if you wanna have a Chinese meal. Remember to call and book your table!
I went to this restaurant last night and had some really bad experiences. I was really angry at the time and was going to write my personal and my boyfriend's reviews and opinions right away, but I don't think I should write reviews when I’m angry or not calm, otherwise it will affect the authenticity. My boyfriend ordered a beef chow mein yesterday and apart from the oil and a little saltiness it was the best Chinese food I've ever had in Nottingham. I had the curry beef brisket with rice and oh my god it was so salty! My boyfriend and I are both very tolerant of food, but we both thought it was unbearably salty! I barely had a few bites before I couldn't eat any more and drank three large glasses of water! I asked the restaurant owner in a very nice tone if I could have another glass of water, as my curry beef brisket rice was a bit salty, but she ignored me and turned around and went into the kitchen and came out and said "It's not salty! Do you not know what curry tastes like, or are you not used to eating normal curry?" Oh my God! I've eaten in every restaurant in Nottingham and you're telling me I've never had a curry? All you have to do is apologise and be careful next time why do you have to shift the fault to the customer? It's worth mentioning that I was told this restaurant was a bit salty so I made a point of stressing less salt when I ordered! Less salt on top of the original saltiness! The owner even showed me at the back saying look how other people's curry can be eaten up and they say it tastes great, so it must be your problem! The tone of voice was full of complaints! But the previous customer had eaten it all and I couldn't tell if the red sauce left on my plate was the yellow curry on my plate, my boyfriend and I always thought that if it was a curry, it must not be the same kind of curry I ordered! I was in a good mood that day, but the look on her face behind me was always one of complaint, and I swear I didn't say anything mean, let alone accuse! From the beginning to the end it was all "Can I have another glass of water? Because my curry beef brisket is a bit salty." I later read Google reviews where people had also said that the curry beef brisket was too salty to the point of being unpalatable. Why didn't the owner change the valuable reviews he received from customers? Wouldn't that have been better? I ended up paying for the whole thing with the owner looking at me with disbelief and contempt. I am really calm and serious and objective in writing this review, I hope the owner will read it.
First tried their food and surprisingly the food taste authentic, reasonable price and the portion is massive too! I definitely will go back again!

The best vegan Chinese food I’ve ever had. 10/10 would highly recommend. Just make sure you clearly state you want it vegan with no eggs etc and choose from the veg menu
Always used to walk past this place like "We aren't going there." And had to use it as a last resort and you know what? We don't regret it. Premium fire munch and outside the box Chinese menu if you wanna try something different.
Love this resturant. My mum is friends with the owner its like going to a resturant in china but in the comfort of your own city! Me and my family go there reguarly and its always good food! Vegetarian options: Some of the meals have no meat so it is vegitarian friendly! Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and there is baby portions!
Super delicious and good size portions. You get an authentic Chinese dishes and believe me... The arrive quicker than your Big Mac would. Great place with loads of Asian people visiting on daily basis. Highly recommended!!
