Stayed one night, check in & check out easy, staff friendly and welcoming. Had some bar food , was very nice. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel has an open feel to it, very light and spacious. Free parking. Would definitely recommend .
Fantastic service and lovely grounds. All of the staff we encountered were smiling, positive and genuinely happy to help. You must take a walk around the grounds. Absolutely beautiful. Pay extra for breakfast, definitely worth it. Rooms could do with updating, I'd personally prefer the carpet removed but fine nonetheless
My work booked me into a different hotel which was an absolute dive and elected to search for other hotels in the area and the orchard came up, so I headed there to see if there was availability, I purchased a room for the night and got settled in, the staff were all so very welcoming and friendly, had a great Old Fashioned at the bar and had a wonderful bath before bed and the best nights sleep in a month. Everything was so nice and modern and clean, I just felt really comfortable, the lobby is absolutely beautiful too, it’s bright and airy and still comfortable, a real far cry from where I was supposed to stay the night, so Thankyou so much for coming to my rescue.
During my recent stay at the Orchard, I was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable service provided by the reception and bar staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire visit. The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure that my check-in process was seamless and efficient. Not only were they attentive to my needs, but they also took the time to provide me with valuable information about the hotel amenities and nearby attractions. The bar staff also deserve special recognition for their exceptional service. Whether it was crafting the perfect cocktail or offering recommendations from the menu, they consistently exceeded my expectations with their attention to detail and friendly demeanor. What truly stood out to me was the genuine care and dedication demonstrated by the entire team. It was evident that they were passionate about providing guests with an unforgettable experience, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Overall, my experience at the Orchard was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible reception and bar staff. I look forward to returning in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking impeccable service and hospitality.
Lovely hotel. Room was perfect, with a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom and a nice TV. Breakfast buffet was great, with a lot of choice and everything of quality. The hotel itself is beautiful and has convenient free parking for guests. Service was great as well.Rooms: 5/5

What a wonderful find this hotel was. Great space and surroundings set in the grounds of the university and minutes away from our friends’ house. The staff are so pleasant, helpful and professional in every department. The room was spacious and clinically clean. We dined in the restaurant on the first evening, the food was delicious and the service excellent. Breakfast on both days had a huge array of items and this too was delicious. We will definitely stay again when we next visit.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, stylish and clean. Very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. Close to town centre. Our only recommendation for improvement would be a fridge, I like to have ice cold water but it’s very minor issue.
Great hotel on the Nottingham uni campus the staff are great and very accommodating. The food is fantastic especially the burgers. The location was great for where we were going only a 15 minute drive and it’s close to the town centre also. My only gripe is if you get a ground floor room you don’t get a wet room shower but otherwise it’s great. Rooms: Fantastic facilities with aircon and good bathrooms.
Excellent location for my itinerary, set in the university grounds that was good for an evening walk or run. Food was excellent and the service was too. This was my second visit, so yes, I can recommend Rooms: 5/5
