If you visit us by car, the surgery also has it’s own car park, which is located to the rear of the building.The Birkenshaw surgery is here to provide you and your pet with all of the day to day veterinary needs that they may have. This includes; first opinion diagnostics, vaccinations, neutering, routine surgery and more."

They are amazing, so kind and friendly and they really know what they are talking about. They managed to see my 3 year old border terrier sooner due to a cancellation. The service and friendliness is truly 10/10
Great team very professional and welcoming.
Been taking my pets to Birkenshaw for the last 12 years since I moved back into the area. The staff and vets are welcoming and friendly. On my last visit they saw I was walking with a crutch and came out to help me in. I have a very lively, friendly labrador crossed with a springer, who had not had his morning run.. My stepmum, came to this practice with her dogs over the years and my sister still lives does. Even thought Birkenshaw is part of a bigger chain. The service is great and personal, and to have the out of hour service being part of a bigger company gives me peace of mind, knowing that my adorable crazy dog can be treated asap. I have had to use the emergency service when I first got my crazy puppy as he had a bad reaction to an injection given to him. Just before I collected him. He is a rescue. What else can I say. Would recommend 100%.
