If I could give -0000 I would. I stood waiting in the que for 10 minutes whilst the staff were focusing on some Santa toy behind the till, all talking and laughing as if they don’t have a job to do, there were approximately 3-4 of them. eventually when I had to walk Over to ask to be served no good afternoon how are you greet. Nothing but miserable workers, didn’t say anything to me not even a bye thank you. Disgusting customer service! Especially the younger girl with black hair, smile once in a while and actually do your job…!
Staff are very rude. Not helpful at all and clearly don’t enjoy their job.
Up to now have always been content. Today I bought 2 items, but for some reason never got them back, but did pay for them. Rang them to say missing, ' not here, don't know what to suggest'. Put onto the manager who pretty much reiterated those comments. When he asked what I wanted him to do I suggested replace them replace them. 'Why, you have obviously misplaced them'. The fact all the purchases went into one bag and they were not misplaced and immediately went into our car parked outside the shop in the bay was of no consequence. It isn't the money, it was only £2, but the immediate 'attack/defence', 'you have lost them that made me see red. I don't lie to try to get something for nothing. I work for myself and wouldn't have given a request such as this a second thought. Customer care ZERO, no more for me.
Good range of products in store if you need to pick up and item. Needed screen cleaner and gloves. Screen cleaner was a supermarket brand with lable covered and gloves cheaper than Internet. Outside path narrow when the store display items on pavement and people stand in way. Store use one way system to make sure everyone follow same route, until exiting the store be prepared and ensure you keep your distance and wear a mask and sanitise, as other people will use same entrance to entre. It would make sense to use other entrance at rear of store? Staff are friendly, polite and always appear to be busy when working in store, but they will help you if required. Always worth a look as you never know what in store as stock changes weekly and you be surprised.
I am absolutely disgusted in the way that a staff member spoke/shouted at me today. Being told that I couldn’t stand where I was when I was clearly trying to look at an item, why have a walkway towards the till point with so many potential add ons and then shout at people who are trying to shop them. This is not the first time this particular staff member has been rude to me. As someone who works in retail myself, I’d be mortified if a member of my team spoke to a customer with such attitude and disrespect. I shan’t be shopping there again.
I like Yorkshire Trading always seem to have something I want good effort

The Yorkshire Trading Store is a sort of bargain everything under one roof typ of a shop selling everything from candles to water proof jackets there is ample parking and wheelchair access
Huge range of reasonably priced items. The kind of shop where you always find something extra to buy. Friendly, helpful staff. Seemed quite well covid-proofed.
In the absence of a hardware store, this place is great for D.I.Y. For those who remember Woolworths and the idea that they will probably have it. Then you will probably be right. The only thing missing is a spanner.
