Lovely food and fabulous service. We’ve been looking for a place which does a proper roast in a while. Not carvery with dry veg but the best cauliflower cheese and some really crispy roast potatoes. Some amazing puddings too! Already booked our next visit.
I nice little impromptu stop on our way home. Have to say, the steak was one of the best I've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection. Also, the rice pudding is blooming lovely.! Certainly having that again.. Realy friendly staff and average sort of prices for really good quality food. We'll certainly be trying out their Sunday lunch which I've heard is stunning. I'll update the review once we've tried it.! If today was anything to go by, I can't wait...love a good Sunday lunch.. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it was a quiet Friday. Lunch time. Wheelchair accessibility: Nice easy entry from the car park.
Our first time here and it won't be the last. The staff were pleasant and efficient, service excellent, and the food well presented, tasty, and not overpriced. The mixed fish platter for two was delicious, our main course of fish & chips and cajun chicken were cooked to perfection. Busy on the Thursday evening that we visited which was also a grill specials night, extra to the normal menu, A nice relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Really nice Sunday roast in a lovely pub. Highly recommended! Plenty of veg to choose from!
Had the roast lamb and it was beautiful. Lamb was tender, roast potatoes crispy, green veg fresh and crunchy and roast parsnips really sweet. One of the best roasts I've had locally. The rest of the table had pork and beef and enjoyed their meals too. The service was swift and friendly. Family of 6 one childs roast and a few alcoholic drinks for just over £20 per head. I can see why they were fully booked.
No breakfast menu. I had coffee and hubby had half of larger. Had a look at lunch menu, not sure its my cup of tea. Staff very pleasant. Exceptionally clean and nice decor. Would give the food a go, definitely visit again next time we're in the area.
Stopped off on the way home from the Malvern show. Had a beautiful meal of pork chop with mash, buttered greens and a cider sauce, was cooked and presented beautifully. Had the apple and cinnamon pie with custard for dessert and would highly recommend it all. Friendly staff ample parking.
Having seen a recommendation for this restaurant we decided to give it a punt last Sunday. I’m delighted we did. We were warmly greeted and shown to a lovely table n the bar. Really pleasant and comfortable surroundings, friendly smiling staff abs a cracking menu. What’s not to like! My partner and I chose the Sunday Roast - pork and Beef. The meat was perfectly cooked and served with a generous helping of seasonal veg for 2 and roast potatoes and parsnips. Cauliflower cheese was one of the best I’ve had abs all I’d the other veg was beautifully cooked and well seasoned. A fabulous giant Yorkshire and lashings of gravy. It was the best road dinner I’ve been served in a restaurant. Delicious. My partner cleared his plate too. We decided to really push the boat and have a pudding. I chose the Apple and cinnamon nut crumble with custard and he chose the pineapple frangipani which was served with a mango sorbet. We shared them both abs they were superb. The perfect end to a fabulous meal. We will definitely be going back and are looking forward to dining during the week too. I would highly recommend it. If you haven’t been you really are missing out. Top marks. Thank you for a delicious lunch.
Great Sunday Roast. Only minor disappointment was the meat and it portion size. Even with a two meat selection, I wasn’t left feeling the love. Everything else about the meal and service was excellent.. Definitely recommend.!
As we were travelling g to our mid stop to Cornwall we called in for some food. Available seats and our dog was welcome inside. The meal of roast beef dinner with roast seaso greens was excellent. Service was good alsoFood: 5/5
