Haven't been in the shop for while, they have made some great changes to shop it's less cluttered and had great choice in furniture, staff are very friendly they couldn't help you enough. Definitely recommend!
visited the store today, all the staff were amazing, friendly helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the older young at heart lady volunteer was great, Rachel was in charge and loved the appreciation for the other workers she showed all went above and beyond, thank you will be back for sure
Very friendly staff and excellent service from both staff and delivery men.
Very poor collection service me and my partner were going to donate a sofa as we were moving the collection service was arranged for Tuesday this week we both waited all day until 3pm no one turned up. We then phoned and were told to leave it outside so we did . The following day it was still there they had not been !a perfectly good sofa ruined now which could have earned a charity some funds. I will not donate anything again to these as other charities will be more gratefull for the donation. The following day we phoned to see why it had not been collected the lady couldn't even explain why!! What a way to run a charity!!
What was once a cluttered and stressful shopping experience has blossomed into a nice and pleasant shop.
An amazing charity great to know for those who sleep rough or have issues regarding making a house a home the ymca shop is there for them, the staff and volunteers Are all very compassionate and friendly. It’s always A pleasure to see what they do for the local community. Cannot see how anyone could have anything negative to say about such a life changing charity. Keep up the fantastic work :
It's been much more hassle than initially anticipated getting a sofa delivered. On the Tuesday I bought it, then I requested as late a delivery on the Thursday as possible, which they agreed to I was working but home by 4pm but then they decided to try and deliver at half 1 anyway. And they don't have any delivery drivers on a Friday! I was also called by a mobile number when they tried to deliver, only to ring and get no answer and no call back when trying to rearrange. Disappointing, especially as that was supposed to be the only sofa in my small apartment and now I'm sitting on the floor until it's sorted.
Sette picked up no hassle the men who picked it up were very good, wearing mask and wiping feet before entering the house. Thank you
Love this shop. Great bargains and staff are helpful
