Absolutely brilliant service, and excellent prices. You can even pay with your phone in the taxi itself! I won't be using any other service after today.
One of their driver damaged my car with a wheelchair. When I called they were very unhelpful. I hought they might at least speak to the driver.we have the incident on CCTV.
Had many bad experiences and gave up using them after driver who was leaving them advised me to. Tried again recently after years and same again. They are often late or do not arrive with excuses then desk is difficult when you call. Confusingly have two apps, both seem to work fine but only one is live. Need to withdraw the old app but just don't bother. If you use it, you're ignored and they will not see your valid booking.
Called from Alicante airport at 8pm BST and a cab was waiting for me at East Midlands airport when I landed at midnight. Can't fault the service and the price was as per everyone else. Also, our driver Khalid was really good
Have used DG for last 10 years but have been let down numerous times in the last six months. Have had drivers on route and then disappear. Have swapped to Yellow Cars and, touch wood, have had great prompt service. Keep up the good work.
I’ve used Yellow Cars for approximately 20 years through thick and thin. I’ve tried so hard over the last year and I’ve finally given up.and switched to DG Cars. It’s very hard to get through on the phone and when you do, there’s hardly any cars available. I downloaded t e app and tried it several times but never any cars available. I have just tried booking one for 5.30pm and a message has indicated that there are no cars available. I hate to think what it will be like later on. I am so exhausted and exasperated with them and I have switched to DG Cars who always pick up the phone and always have cars available. I’ve just used the app to book which was very straightforward. Seems Yellow Cars are not bothered and it feels like they are winding their business down. It really saddens me as I like their drivers and I’ve got to know quite a few over the years. Goodbye
Called Yellow Cars in a bit of an emergency panic in the early hours of the morning as I had received a message to say my partner had been rushed in to hospital . Where I live is quite a way out of Yellow cars normal area so I was very grateful that the helpful phone operator was able to accept my booking. I was informed of the companies tracking facility which is an efficient and effective service. The taxi arrived very swiftly and the driver was friendly and professional with a very clean vehicle . Thanks to the operator and the driver I was soon at the hospital with my partner. Great service from Yellow cars. Thank you.

Absolutely awful. Booked a taxi 4 days in advance as I understood that it was a busy night and that it was from the other end of town. However, if they did not want to come down to bulwell from town, then don't let me book the taxi! Booked for midnight and at 23:45 receive a call from a sour lady saying the taxi will be 15 mins late. I say that's fine, I understand its busy etc. Ring back at 12:10am asking if it has been dispatched. She says very patronisingly 'Katie. I told you 25 mins ago that the taxi will be there in 30 mins.' I say yes I know, just wondering if its on its way, that's all. She says no. Will be another 30 mins. Are you joking? This is the way a customer is supposed to be treated? Lied to and patronised? I am quite young and was alone in the dark, very scared and just needed a way home. To say I gave them 4 days notice is appalling. I should've been a priority and they should've been on time. Again, I'm not stupid and I understand its a pain to come from the other side of town but she was saying that it was my fault that the taxi was late and not the company. 1. sort your operators out, she was awful. 2. prioritise bookings, no matter where they are. 3. don't let people book if you don't want to do the trip? I've had some pretty poor taxi experiences but this is bottom of the pile. Honestly do not use, go for something trustworthy like Uber.
Cannot fault this company. Started using them roughly 18 months ago when the "other" taxi firm were rude,abrupt and disrespectful.I've never had a problem with yellow cars. The drivers are all friendly, helpful and chatty. Never had one late cab. Their fares are consistent and fair. They go out of their way helping me with carrying shopping. I even know some drivers by their first names. Wouldn't use any other firm. You're OK with YELLOW.
