A group of 6 used this service for airport transfer. The service was excellent. Great automated system which provided all the details. Pay options quick and easy with automatic receipt. On return flight I contacted the service and was able to speak with the driver. Both drivers polite and safe drivers. Would recommend this service and use again thanks Jackie
Don't use shocking drivers. We booked these as my local firm was fully booked, that we had used the day before exactly the same pick up and drops.We were quoted a £1 dearer but didn't care.Half way through the journey he said he forgot to put is meter on.When myself and 17 year old daughter came to get out the driver locked the doors and refused to let us leave unless we paid another £5 for extra drops that had already been taken into the company quote.I gave him an extra £1 and told him if he didn't let us out I would call the police.He sworn at me in English and his native language assumed and said I was ripping him off with the price of petrol.It was an electric car.Never will I use them again
The app is simple and easy to use, the only thing I would say is would be great if they added an return trip feature. Very quick arrival, went on a quick route. Clean car only issue I had was driver was talking to someone on the phone on loud speaker the whole journey and missed my turning.
Ordered a taxis via their app, over twenty four hours before Taxis needed, all booked and confirmed. Came to time taxis was meant to arrive, checked app and they had cancelled my taxis with no phone call or text to let me know. Left abandoned at a racecourse which is two miles from nearest village down a dark lane. Had to get my Dad out to pick me up as on my own. Wont book with them ever again as you cant rely on them turning up and don't want to be left in this situation again.
Needed to leave a bit earlier, called and was connected immediately with the driver of the taxi. He arrived at the altered time, was friendly and helpful. Had a great chat in the taxi. Driver helped us unload the luggage. Fantastic and reliable service as always. Thank you.
Honestly awful service. Pre booked taxi for 12:45 we waited outside from 20 past, had a missed call from the driver, phone was on loud didn’t hear it ring so whether they rang properly is unknown…but I digress. Anyway, rang them back instantly 11 times, before someone picked up from there we were then informed our taxi was cancelled and no one was coming, and no one could come. Happy new year! won’t be using them again. To add to it, our friend’s taxi who also was with DG came an hour late …
Wish I could give less than 1 star. Taxi company absolutely awful. I only used them as they were the only ones with availability to collect my 16 year old son from work. Ordered the taxi and was told they couldn’t guarantee me a taxi with a card reader so sent me a link to pay. I paid this and the taxi company said they hadn’t received it so to send proof. I sent proof and then they told me to ring my bank. I rang my bank and was told the payment was authorised and it was an error on the taxi company’s part. I rang them back and advised them of this and was told by a really abusive person that unless I paid again, they wouldn’t sent a taxi to collect my son so I paid again £20 for a single ride 3 miles away. I then received a text off my son saying that the normal route was closed so the taxi driver had to take a detour so the price wouldn’t be the same - he was really worried after being told this. When I rang the taxi company and advised them of this I was asked by them to make a goodwill gesture for the short detour having checked live maps the normal route was open. I said I just wanted my son home safe and had already paid them twice. When the taxi arrived the driver said the same thing had happened recently where they company alleged payment hadn’t been made when it had, and that customer had to pay twice like me. The taxi driver was really nice and I can’t fault him one bit although can’t help but feel the company are taking advantage of him. Absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the staff apart from one woman who was lovely and will never use this company again. Would advise everyone to avoid at all costs. In the current economic climate we are all struggling but to charge me twice for a single short journey I think is wrong. Absolutely shocking attitude of the company.
Driver was early for my 5am outgoing flight from WB to EMA therefore no stress . Return flight from Corfu was delayed, driver aware and was picked up within 3 minutes. No problem hassle free excellent service. Smooth drive back to WB and home within 25 minutes. Excellent timely service, I'll definitely use D&G again. Thank you.
I have used DG cars for a very long time now and have never met a driver so rude. Exceeding speed limits and talking on the phone the whole time. Would appreciate a little bit of notice or conversation bit was just asked where I was going and that was it, just carried on with his conversation on the phone. I normally leave a decent sized tip for the drivers, but this time no, I felt like he didn't deserve it.
I just used DG Cars which I use all the time, Have taken DG Cars to go to QMC why is it the drivers act like they know the best way, then argue with the customer about it . I told the gentleman that he was taking a longer route than what was taken in the morning. In the morning there was more traffic and it cost £2 cheaper then this evening. I explain to the gentleman that it was more distance the route he was going and he kept saying it was the same!! We got to my home and it was £2 more . I also explained that another taxi driver wanted me to use him instead of DG Cars as I had told him I had already booked a taxi. The driver was with Hackney Cab. The gentleman ask what price I wanted to pay!!! Do I go with them the next time??? My driver drove a White Toyota Corolla for DG Cars
