Fabulous traditional pub. Great head manager by the name of Tim. Again, The menu is traditional but good enough. If you fancy a drink or meal in a nice atmospheric pub, then you can't go wrong with this one.
Traditional village pub offering a fabulous service & atmosphere. Highly recommend! Totally welcoming and looked after my mum when she was having car troubles near by. Thanks again for all your help.
Booked a table for the World Cup, 24 hours later they decided to cancel my booking. Lady who took my booking was polite friendly we even spoke about the booking being specially for the World Cup and was told it was fine. Lady who cancelled my booking spoke down at me, had no reasoning for cancelling my table other than “we just don’t do it” and “reserving a table of 7 might pee off the regulars”.
Great open gig night, decent ale too.
Pleasant pub, lots of activities bands etc. Unfortunately we sat near a very loud table of ladies and had to move in. No coffee available at 8.45

Great pub, friendly serving staff, good range of beer.
Nice place. A four hundred year old pub. The beer is a reasonable price. Saw the menu, it's like a traditional old fashioned style menu, could do with updating for more healthy style food. Lovely atmosphere here with a little entertainment on certain days.
Very limited choice of mains. Seems to offer lots of tapas but confusing to order. Not impressed with some of the bar staff as seemed more interested in their mobile phone than serving me at the bar. Waited for a couple of minutes in full view but then decided to go elsewhere. Was served a cloudy pint of ale, which in fairness was changed when I mentioned it, but should I have needed to mention it? Don't think I will be returning any time soon.
I didn't find the pub very welcoming and nothing from today's visit made me think any differently. The pub was fairly quiet and apart from saying a few words of greeting I may as well have not been there. I know I'm rather unconventional but I'm not unfriendly and I'm polite. It wouldn't hurt for the staff to be a bit warmer to an occasional visitor
