First time in here and found it very friendly, both staff and customers. Pint of Doombar just £2.25, Guinness £3.19. Competitive with Wetherspoon's. Pool table and sports TV on several screens. Dog friendly! Only negatives are presently there's no outside seating, but I'm assured this is due imminently, and there's graffiti in the gents. Well worth a visit. I'll definitely be making this my local.
Proper pub with friendly staff and friendly customers. Pool table and Dart board are always a bonus these days and the traditional beers cannot be faulted. Only downside is trying to push craft beer when it's not necessary. If people like craft beer they will buy craft beer, Lord only knows why but hey ho, we're all different when it comes to taste. Great pub, look forward to revisiting

Very cheap and often quite rowdy! Staff are always friendly. There are pool tables to use. Just to note that it is quite a male space.
Pleasantly surprising! Looks fab after it's latest makeover versus the den it was turned into. Comfortable setting, made to feel welcome and cheap.
What an amazing establishment. So friendly and serviceminded staff and the prices are unheard-of for being a pub in London!!!! Best pub in New Cross area and will definitely come back!!
Five Bells is a very very deep place,it has got it's unique charm and challenges. Carpet maybe a bit too vintage,but the Guinness is always cold and just 3 pounds for a pint! If you are ready to feel New Cross gate vibes, you should definitely pop in!
Typical pub some might say its an old fashioned in atmosphere but the decor is modern. Traditional games, darts and pool. Good value for London regarding the price of drinks. Quick service and friendly staff. Nothing negative to say about this place all good.
Nice pub..lovey bar lady, went there for the first time...I would go again
