I always visit here when I am in Hastings  its as traditional an English pub as it can be. I love it. It looks as though it was build from shipwrecked galleons, it has so much atmosphere. Don't forget to go down stairs to checkout the fantastic old fireplace.

The food, the service and the building are what keep me coming back here. The staff are always lovely and friendly, the food has always been really great pub food and great value, and I love the inside vibes of the building. It's like being in the galley of an old pirate ship

Amazing old tudor house. Wish I had time to pop in. Hopefully next year.

Very friendly and covid secure public house, all staff wearing masks and ensuring compliance with all other customers when leaving tables etc, whilst still remaining professional and courteous. Good food and drink  at reasonable prices. Happy and cheerful staff make the experience.

The absolute best Sunday lunch. The staff were lovely. Lost 1 star as they forgot to take our order for over half an hour. We had to collar someone in the end

Loved it. Went with the mrs . Food good.  Atmosphere settled. And staff friendly
