Cracking little pub set back off the main road but accessible via Waterloo Passage. Fine beers and great food. Interesting central fireplace as well
Pleasant little place. My lunch emerged better than expected- the salmon was lovely and the presentation really good. However, satanic noise of some work being done in the building ensured my rapid departure and four instead of five star rating.
I love this pub. I try to visit whenever I'm in Hastings. It's a traditional pub with a beautiful log fire in the middle of the room, great selection of beers on tap including their own and the food is delicious.

Love this pub. Always visit here when in Hastings. Cosy and comfortable. Decent range of beer. Love it when the fire is lit.
My second visit in a year, with covid getting in between visits. Still a very friendly bar with some very pleasant pumps on the bar. The ice cold cider is a very special Brew.
Unique beer real fire plus real ales plus really good staff equal s 5 stars
Popped in on the off chance for a lunch bite. Very welcoming and helpful service. Followed Covid instructions for cleaning, but didn't take contact detail.
