Had a booked gathering here of about 14 people and we were beyond happy with our time here. Everyone ordered a pie and they were all delicious; piping hot and full of flavour. Service was very quick for food as well as drinks - we were always checked up on asking for more drinks if needed. Staff are lovely! I had a vegan pie with vegan mash and gravy. Was simply delicious! Would highly recommend!
Great beer, pies to die for and a beech front pub with character. Focusing on a decent pie is a smart move. Choose your side, your sauce and get stuck in.
Cracking pies in a great pub.. Look past the locals on the front, they're harmless, the back room restaurant is great and the staff are brilliant, the food was great go steady on the horseradish, it's a nose blower that needs a warning on the bottle Will be going back as soon as possible
Had such a lovely dinner here last Saturday night! Always enjoyed the Albion but haven’t been for food in a long time, and we were all so impressed. Great service, and the most delicious pies with amazing vegan options! So reasonable for what you get too. A lovely warm welcoming atmosphere : thankyou!
Great pies full of fillings. I had the steak and ale and it was full of good quality steak. Really tasty selection of gravy and sides. This is the second time we've eaten there and it had been smashing. Staff are really helpful and quick service.
Fantastic music, pie and ail. We spent a fantastic Tuesday night enjoying it all! Highly recommended
Best pies around served by friendly and obliging staff in a great traditional pub. I cant wait to return for another PIE!!!.
Great pub, lively, friendly if a bit pricey, try the pies!
Great pub. Harvey's bitter. I see a lot of people eating there but I go for the live music. A bit like a real Irish bar there are evenings when people bring along instruments and play together. My favourite is the skiffle evening on alternate Tuesdays.
Really nice place with a great selection of beers ales etc to try. There is a pie and mash shop out the front and I would advise a eat there because it's amazing and b buy crisps from them because for some reason they are 50p cheaper than at the bar for the same brand. Definitely worth a visit
