Popped in for a bite to eat and a pint before heading home tonight. Food was as you expect from Weatherspoons. The staff though were so generous and didn't need to be. The barrel for the pint I ordered had just run out whilst doing my pint. So to make up for what was missing I got another half pint and a free side with our meals. Very thankful and set us up for a nice journey home to Manchester.
Very friendly service. Ordered a breakfast muffin which arrived within 5 minutes. Very good value for money as the deal included unlimited refills of tea and coffee. Decent location 2 minutes walk from Blackpool Tower. Also has an open top roof terrace which opens from midday.
It's just a Spoons innit, you know what to expect. Good grub, belting proces, happy staff which is crackers for spoons! Take this hint and pay em more shiz hot location this. Near train station and North Pier.
It was OK, but food let it down. People knock weatherspoons, all the time. I never go by them normally but I should, as today ,my fish was dry and tasteless. The chip portion was a disgrace, as we're the mushy peas. The fish was ample size but batter was soft ,no crunch at all. The fish it's self was dry and tasteless, plus I had no idea what type of fish it was. I am a lover of fish, any kind. I eat hake, turbot, salmon, cod, haddock, skate and trout, etc. This however was fish but not as I knew it. So very disappointed, but it won't stop me going back, so call me crazy, but I enjoy the service and variety of drinks etc. I should have complained to be honest.
As always, excellent beer, excellent surroundings and excellent staff. We were in here on bank holiday Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At various times of the day.
Really quick service on a Friday night and Saturday morning. Super cozy atmosphere when sat by the roaring fire place. Breakfast wrap was enjoyable too.
Just had breakfast in the Layton Raikes, not a good experience, food is only good value if it is edible, was served a cold breakfast on a cold plate that should have never been allowed to leave the kitchen, wetherspoons you have just lost another customer.
Always my 1st stop when I get to Blackpool. Medium breakfast and 2 or 3 lattes free refills sets you up nicely for the day. Step free access very helpful and a lift upstairs to the assisted toilet. Staff are so pleasant - very helpful. This fire was amazing too!!
It was very very busy. But the service was still not slow and food done well. My only issue is we was with a disabled person but the layout was really very bad. The toilets including disabled toilets were all upstairs and even though there was a lift the lift was at the opposite end of the dining room and couldn't of been further apart if you tried. The layout of the ground floor and the level above was identical. Except on the 1st floor the right side of dining area was the toilet area. The toilets could of been put in exactly the same place but downstairs. Making it easier all round the physical needs
Stopped by for a pint and a little snack before the football match. Decent little weatherspoons nachos were nice and the prices are reasonable as always with this pub chain.
