Yan's is a family run Cantonese restaurant which is located at the heart of Alnwick, a stone throw away from Hogwarts (Alnwick Castle). We are currently open 6 days a week from Wednesday to Monday serving our traditional Cantonese dishes. Opening times will vary throughout the year depending on the season. Best Cantonese food ever. Friendliest staff, family business. Reserve a table, it's always busy. Takeaway service is available. Love it! ❤️ 10/10

Great salt and pepper tofu in a light tasty batter, tasty veggie main courses including the unicorn 🦄, friendly staff happy to have a chat on wind down. They let a group of 9 fellas in when they were past their core hours, they seem like a good group of people running the place and the food is good too.

We made a reservation for 7.30pm on Weds 25th April 2018 
The service was good ,however the food was unfortunately a let down.
The classic starter was very poor,the ribs in particular had hardly any meat only bone and gristle.
The main dish, duck with pineapple and ginger was tasteless and floppy.
The rice very bland and the Singapore fried noodles had little flavour
Based on this visit we are unable to recommend this restaurant.
